Fox says the video is currently unavailable. Was Zero at the prayer breakfast to hear the Dr.’s speech?

That was very good. I like this guy already.
I agree we need fewer lawyers and more doctors in government.

Education definitely need fixing, the drivel they teach nowadays is clearly inadequate to survive and prosper in this era, both individually and as a country.
0bamas expression and body language though, bored and annoyed. Who the h*** let this guy in?

I'm wondering how many Freepers have actually listened to the speech. Dr. Carson is not an orator, but he upheld the highest American and Christian ideals in his speech, put forward his and his wife's solution for helping kids raised in horrible circumstances to enjoy education--a solution that is simple but it works.
Someone asked in the Fox Nation comments why he isn't president. There would be an outcry of many Black Americans against him because he wishes to put forth his ideas and not offend, and because he believes that the ideal version of the Stars Spangled Banner includes the words under God.
And because he believes that the best way to help our nation is to solve problems and not simply win the national political debate. (That alone would put him in the doghouse with many Freepers, I think.)

I had the honor of meeting this wonderful man and his family some years ago. He is a national treasure. God bless him and his wife Candi and their foundation.

I have found a new Hero. Dr. Carson is truly amazing and a Godsend. His intelligence and wisdom are phenomenal. How have I missed knowing about him until now?

Dr Carson and his wife have a new book out.
America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great I wonder if the White House Prayer Breakfast planning committee knew about his motivational and American-people loving speeches. I have been privileged to hear him several times and he really connects with his audiences.
I'm sure that having to be at a Prayer Breakfast must have felt like waterboarding to our Prez. He likes to sleep in and he does not like prayer.

I happened to catch this on TV....and I am amazed. What a gem of a human being. He towers mightily above Obama in word, deed, and belief. Somehow, I had not known about him before.
I felt do much better after hearing his speech. The dark and depressing Obama years can be behind us someday because there really are examples of what America is about in these types of brilliant and patriotic heroes such as Dr. Carson.
I am going to buy his book and promote him to everyone I know.
To: caseyn
Powerful speech!
Funny that Obama didn't stand at the end or shake the hand of Dr. Carson.
