Anyone in southern California driving a blue pickup had better pull over and run like hell. The police are firing on blue pickup trucks, with two innocent casualties so far.
The Torrance PD termed it, "Shortly thereafter, shots were fired", translated as, "The panicked, out-of-control, officers fired three rounds into the wrong truck."

"Driving a blue pickup truck with its lights off, the newspaper carriers slowly approached the officers house before dawn. Police believed Dorner had arrived.Officers opened fire on the truck, which was riddled with more than 15 bullet holes through the back windshield and tailgate.
The shooting happened at 5:20 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, police said. One woman was struck in the hand and is expected to recover; the other was shot in the back and her condition was unknown late Thursday. Both were taken to the hospital.
Just two blocks away and 25 minutes later, Torrance police shot another driver travelling in a pickup truck.
While responding to the first officer-involved shooting, a Torrance police cruiser collided with a truck that resembled Dorans. The incident occurred near Beryl Street and Flagler Lane in Redondo Beach, on the border with Torrance.
"Shortly thereafter, shots were fired," said Sgt. Chris Roosen, with Torrance Police Department. "The officers believed that the person involved was Christopher Dorner."
The civilian driver missed the gunfire that came through the windshield of the truck, which was penetrated by at least three bullets.
Neither shooting involved Dorner, 33, who remains at large, according to police."
Looks like pickup trucks are the new rifle.
And the big blue wall comes down. I don’t believe for one second that they were driving at 5 AM with their lights off.
But that’s a necessary part of the story to enable the cops to pretend that they couldn’t see what kind of truck it was, and to assume that something bad was going on.
