Wonder if some are going to take this opportunity to shoot police hoping Dorner gets the blame? Or, set off fireworks where all these SWAT teams are gathering? This guy seems to be trying to set this sort of stuff up.
I hope they find this POS and put him down like the rabbid dog he is.
Wonder if he had another vehicle parked at the location and left in that vehicle.
Anyone in southern California driving a blue pickup had better pull over and run like hell. The police are firing on blue pickup trucks, with two innocent casualties so far.
The Torrance PD termed it, "Shortly thereafter, shots were fired", translated as, "The panicked, out-of-control, officers fired three rounds into the wrong truck."

"Driving a blue pickup truck with its lights off, the newspaper carriers slowly approached the officers house before dawn. Police believed Dorner had arrived.Officers opened fire on the truck, which was riddled with more than 15 bullet holes through the back windshield and tailgate.
The shooting happened at 5:20 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, police said. One woman was struck in the hand and is expected to recover; the other was shot in the back and her condition was unknown late Thursday. Both were taken to the hospital.
Just two blocks away and 25 minutes later, Torrance police shot another driver travelling in a pickup truck.
While responding to the first officer-involved shooting, a Torrance police cruiser collided with a truck that resembled Dorans. The incident occurred near Beryl Street and Flagler Lane in Redondo Beach, on the border with Torrance.
"Shortly thereafter, shots were fired," said Sgt. Chris Roosen, with Torrance Police Department. "The officers believed that the person involved was Christopher Dorner."
The civilian driver missed the gunfire that came through the windshield of the truck, which was penetrated by at least three bullets.
Neither shooting involved Dorner, 33, who remains at large, according to police."
Wheels, it haz them.
Let’s stipulate that he is a whackjob, and now a deadly criminal who MUST be caught or stopped.
That being said, I read the stuff he wrote that has since been redacted from the net. In a nutshell (and I know this may be a little bit crazy sounding), he may have been a little bit too much of a “Dudley Do-Right” in calling out a couple of fellow officers on things like excessive use of force and other similar things. Because he crossed the blue line and ratted on fellow officers - being a whistleblower is what he saw it as - he says he was retaliated against.
NOW deciding that he needed to shoot people to get even for their retaliation is NOT right.
But at the same time, it is not great stretch to believe that his statements concerning police corruption and cover-ups are accurate.
Look at the history of this problem in many law enforcement organizations.
If his complaints indeed are true, and had been taken seriously and not covered up, that would have been best.
But OTOH, they were covered up, he was retaliated against for being a whistle-blower and too straight-arrow, and lost his job.
He should have taken it as water under the bridge, let it go, and moved on.
Many folks have such incidents in their career. Tens of millions, I would hazard to guess, in their lifetime have an unfair action taken against them at work or elsewhere at least once in their life/career.
Welcome to the real world.
Almost everyone gets mad but moves on, and over time lets it go.
A tenth of a fraction, of a fraction of a percent, decide to get even in some way. NOT the way to go, but there it is...
He is wrong. He has murdered police officers, but even if they were civilians, still it is murder. He is doomed.
But also his accusations should be re-investigated by an independent party. I doubt this will happen.
Christopher Dorner = Mark Essex.
I won’t waste my precious time reading this nut’s “manifesto”, but just glancing over it I see that he has an opinion on everything, and thinks he absolutely must express it, which is something I’ll have to treat as a warning to myself.
Just wait until the PoPos are sent out to confiscate the peeps’s gunz.
When they autopsy his brain I’m going to guess he has football bumper brain damage.
KNBC: Possible fugitive ex-cop Dorner detonated truck on a timer after escaping Big Bear area
* I knew it! many of us on earlier posts thought the same thing..that the truck was just a diversion & he’s been long gone for hours..question is, where?? My bet is he’s already thought this out, very carefully & is already a step ahead..I’d be more than a little worried if my name was on his hit list.
