It was all over the political spectrum, but when I first read it, I was kind of scared at how much I actually agreed with...especially the first half or so; he kind of breaks left in the latter sections. In the lead up to the 2000 election there was a cutesy little quiz going around the internet asking people to identify various quote as being from either algore's "Earth In The Balance" or from the Unibomber Manifesto. While amusing, I cringed, because the left could have just as easily pulled quotes and asked if they came from Limbaugh or Robert Bork.

Right, which sort of illustrates why this kind of ideological witch hunting really isn’t fair. The only good reason to do it is to punish the left for doing it, to rub it back in their faces, because they do it so freaking much and with the force of the media.
