TEA Party members really have no wish to be a part of the Government's Other Party. We don't usually chose to associate with cowards.

It’s not Santa Claus, because nobody is getting anything out of this (except Bambi’s faux homies, who might be getting a free phone...big whoop!).

It’s fear. Obama is a dictator, and he has the full support of the media, Wall Street and the federal government with its full enforcement powers.

We thought it couldn’t happen here...

We have conservative talkradio, internet sites, and blogs. They will be working really, really hard, plus the tea party movement.

`Resistance To Obama Has Melted Away’ “There isn’t any resistance to Obama anywhere, and it’s going to get worse even from this point.”

Complete nonsense! Assuming the election wasn’t stolen, just under half the country can’t stand the fraud.

Presidential
Candidate Vice Presidential
Candidate Political
Party Popular Vote Electoral Vote
Barack H. Obama Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Democratic 65,899,625 51.02% 332 61.7%
Willard Mitt Romney Paul Ryan Republican 60,928,981 47.18% 206 38.3%

FR is `Resistance HQ’ and the fight has just begun!
To your battle-stations .....

I guess Rush’s message is that the country will have to go totally belly up before the low-information voters notice the change. And I suppose the Republicans hope to be the ones to put Humpty Dumpty together again.

Sorry, but I couldn’t listen to Rush at that time...I had the radio on, but he was so damn depressing...

Providence has given us this oppressive government. We have a Witness to keep—a Name to bear.

Jesus Christ is that name, and He is the Righteous Judge.

We must not give up—He is not against us. He may judge our nation. Our nation deserves judgement. But we should not lose our witness.

Actually Baraq’s followers are living pretty well relative to the value they add to society.

EIC, TANF, EBT, Obamaphones, subsidized cable, school breakfast and lunch, section 8, energy assistance, yadda yadda. All paid for with fake money created by Bernanke and Geithner (now Lew).

The Fedgov is like that family in 2007 riding a wave of false prosperity based on maxxed out credit cards and helocs on a house with negative real equity. Two leased luxury SUVs and a McMansion.

It’s gonna blow, hopefully in the next 4 years, and hopefully Baraq gets the “credit”.

Everyone I know is forgoing luxury items in order to buy ammo. I wouldn’t say that the resistance has gone away. I think the resistance has just stopped talking and that is not the same thing at all.

“It’s fear. Obama is a dictator, and he has the full support of the media, Wall Street and the federal government with its full enforcement powers.”

You got that right. People believe that the federal fascist goons are 10-feet tall, are battle-tested veterans and eat railroad spikes. Of course that’s BS.

The macho ATF gestapo surrendered to the women and children at Waco 10 minutes into the firefight. You can see them walking away with their hands in the air.

People are afraid of bogeymen they create in their own minds.

Sure is fear. At lunch with friends today I said it felt like when I was a kid and we heard how the Soviets had kids ratting on their parents, friends ratting on friends, making it so no one had anyone they could trust and didn’t fear if they weren’t marching in lockstep. We are living in dangerous times and as we were warned back in the Cold War days, our destruction would come from inside.

Rush is correct. The Republican party has collapsed...on the fiscal cliff, on the debt ceiling, on Medicaid expansion (even “Scorpions for Breakfast" Jan Brewer), on immigration. Now Carl Rove and the establishment republicans attack the Tea Party.

Why vote Republican when you get this garbage? At least the Democrats say what they want to do; the Republicans are spineless weasels.

It is very tempting to take it out on the GOP by not voting for them again. Disgusted, dismayed and depressed.

With all due respect to Rush supporters, please bear with the following. I classify Rush as an Obama guard dog just like Fx News and Townhall.com. This is because not only did Rush ignore major concerns about Obama’s fake BC, but just like Fx News, Rush never mentions Congress’s constitutionally limited powers evidenced by Section 8 of Article I, Article V and the 10th Amendment in federal public policy discussions.

Rush still has to explain why, if there is no fight left in the GOP, then why did Boehner fight so hard to keep the Speakership of the House?

If he didn't have the fight left in his belly to oppose Obama, why didn't he step aside and let someone who does have the fight to take it up?

I'd like to know why Boehner was so strong when it came to purging conservatives from committees, if he really didn't have the will to continue the fight, as Limbaugh suggests?

Isn't it worse to openly collaborate with Democrats by refusing to relinquish the reins of power that could be used by someone of strong will to oppose Obama, and removing people who might from their committee positions?

Didn Boehner purposely cripple the Republican party's ability to oppose Obama in the House?

Would you say that Boehner and McConnell moved from giving in to open collaboration with Obama, rather than letting someone else continue the fight?

Do we have a vichy Republican party?

You might be right. But the GOP doesn’t see it that way. They see the glass as half empty.

We have conservative talkradio, internet sites, and blogs. They will be working really, really hard, plus the tea party movement.

In my opinion that strength is, in actuality, a weakness. The vast majority, if not all, of the Conservative movements primary modes of communication are totally inward looking. Closed loop systems that, for lack of a better term, preach to the choir. It makes for quite strong conservatives, but it achieves diminishing returns quickly, and more importantly doesn't add numbers quick enough. FR, talk radio, etc are great, but they are a greenhouse. New growth doesn't come quickly.

This is one area the Liberals have done extremely well. Exceedingly well. Their mode of communication is external as opposed to our internal. They control the media, and more importantly entertainment. That is far more important than news or some guy talking on the radio. This allows them to drip drip liberal leaning precepts, and this is why an issue like homosexuality went from being looked down on in the early 90s to generally accepted by most people below 35 in 2005. Drip drip in tv and movie programming. The 2nd amendment? Give them 15'years of drip drip and even that will change.

I'm not saying that we should leave talk radio. No, we should GROW it - and not just radio. Conservatism needs to take a more pro active stance, and to sell itself to people who are NOT conservatives. That is however much harder than nodding heads in tandem at what Rush said, thus I expect no movement.

Which unfortunately is tantamount to the last 50 die hard fans of Dungeons and Dragons physical boardgames. Yes, those 50 are the absolute best in D&D board games, but unfortunately everyone else moved to videogames.

The Tea Party has great opportunity to sell themselves to the general public, but I believe they will simply sit in a circle and pump each other up ...while the Libs gain control over the next generation of minds through their outward looking media/entertainment approach. This is why the Libs have people like Rachel Maddow to give semi-serious Lib propaganda to those in the early 30s, and they has entertainment to take care of everyone younger. Who do we have? Rush and O'Reilly (and I jest on Bill).

Outstanding post. You understand the problem.

Two generations of “progressive” education.

Control of the MSM - which transitioned from “heavy liberal bias” to “full journ0list members of the regime” in 08.

Open borders.
