There are at least two issues going on here. There is some truth in saying that a civilian responder should be competent in the use of their weapon and informed as to the laws. This is easily done. The main focus of the government seems to be on denying the civilian responder the power to control his or her own destiny. The very idea of a civilian having the power to stop a shooter is terrifying to the government. We must be told that we are not trained, not competent, and we must hide with our hands above our heads so that the “trained professionals” will not shoot us.

If you can resist a criminal, you can resist a criminal government.

That’s what they don’t want.

It is the progressives’ nanny state end game for ONLY established authority figures to be empowered to protect the dumb masses. (Say thost last two words very fast to understand how our elite wouldbe masters view us.)

Couple that with the elites’ fear that many of their intended subjects will use force to resist their utopian plans for our enslavement and you understand why they MUST attempt to disarm us.

And why we MUST NEVER ALLOW THEM TO DO SO!!

And if anyone reading this fails to grasp the outcome of civilian disarmament, watch “Schindler’s List” again. (And while watching it, contemplate the irony that Steven Spielberg supports Feinstein’s efforts to set us on the same course Hitler took as he undertook the murder of 12 million or so humans.)
