Thanks for posting the hi res pics. The one thing that bothered me was the lack of a ring on all the other images I’ve seen. But on yours, it is clearly there. Real pic really posed.
Some really faked stuff in those two pictures.
(1) The first picture. Notice his line of sight from his eyes to the barrel of the gun. If you drew a line from where his eyes are to the rear of the barrel there is no way in hell for him to be aligned to the barrel. The gun is pointed up about 5 degrees and his line of sight is at -20 degrees from the level of the barrel.
(2) picture #2. On this particular shotgun the ports are on BOTH sides of the barrel...not one. Notice that the fake smoke is blowing out of the right set of ports and nothing is coming out of the left side of the ports. That indicates the good communist that doctored the photo knew absolutely nothing about the gun.
(3) The HUGE amount of smoke coming out of the gun is pure BS. I would expect that from a black powder gun but not from a standard cartridge. If you had a bunch of skeet shooters firing they would have to have a recess every 5 minutes to clear the air so they could see the targets.
This is a typical propaganda picture straight from the Ministry of Propaganda and the media.
Thank you. That is definitely high-res and big. I see that there aren’t as many portings on the upper barrel as the lower one and the width of the smoke column might match. (Still seems a little skinny.) But where is the gunsmoke coming out of the left porting holes? The near side?
