Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. I understand the need to clearly state the site is for conservatives and not to be ashamed about it either. My first and immediate impression was hmmm, little strong. Maybe that was their point also. However, this is why I like this site so much. It would not take any person more than a minute to clearly understand this site is almost completely full of conservatives and the few liberal trolls who visit trying to bait people. I want to support the “conservative” effort. We’ll see. Regardless, I hope the site does well.

The thing is it is not really an alternative to Facebook, it’s instead a Conservative forum/meeting/gathering place. There’s already dozens of those (like here for instance).

A true Conservative alternative to Facebook would be like Facebook but with enough differences, bells & whistles to be unique.

99% of the activity on Facebook is not political, so it would be nice to have a place to do all the good stuff on Facebook and share with your apolitical friends/family and the only difference being that Conservatives benefit instead of that Liberal Twerp Zuckermann.
