San Diego Police Chief William Lansdowne is fully supportive of the Obama/Feinstein gun grab, and says if lawmakers play it right Americans can be completely disarmed within "a generation."
Lansdowne has gone on record saying: "I could not be more supportive of the president for taking the position he has. I think it's courageous with the politics involved in this process. [And] I think it's going to eventually make the country safer."
He made it clear that it may take "a generation," but new laws could eventually take all guns off the streets.
This is quite a departure from other law enforcement personnel we've seen around the country--particularly Sheriffs--who've come out firmly against any infringement on the 2nd Amendment. We've cheered those officials for standing with the people, and now Lansdowne has taken a position completely opposite them.

Almost all big city police chiefs are bootlicking fascist RATS. They aren’t cops anymore, they’re politicians, just like most senior Army officers, like the one (McChrystal?) that recently came out for gun control.

First, this guy doesn’t have another “generation” left in office. So, he has nothing to live up to.
Second, He’s wrong.
Not because the next generation won’t be more compliant, or better informed regarding Constitutional guarentees.
But, because soon, some political idiot will reach too far, and bring this debate to a head.
I just got a ‘fifteen minute’ background check done on me last week. As I sat there for over an hour (15 minutes is a lie), I felt a little like a kid who had been sent to the pricipal’s office.
Why am I subjected to this abuse? And why isn’t this abuse enough for idiots like this police chief?
My Second Amendment rights are obviously being infringed.
What about the Fourth Amendment, which protects me from unreasonable search and siezure....that is exactly what the background check is.
What about the Fifth Amendment, gun grabbers “nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation”...even though the buyback programs are voluntary, they may not meet this requirement - a $40 gift card is not ‘just compensation’...its ‘trick an old lady into surrendering her heirlooms’.
While this idiot was speaking, he had a cadre of officers behind him, providing armed security. Why is it so hard for him to comprehend that I also value security?

The new mayor of San Diego, Bob Filner, is left of Fineswine and Boxer. He was a member of the House of Representatives until recently and is the son of a member of Communist Party USA. Landsdowne and Filner are best friends forever. As a San Diegan I want to puke whenever I hear either one of them.
