An Israeli intelligence source has confirmed Irans Fordow underground nuclear uranium enrichment facility sustained major damage in a mega explosion that occurred last week.
Fordow, which contains at least 2,700 centrifuges for uranium enrichment, is located deep beneath a mountain near the Iranian city of Qom.
Some 200 workers were trapped inside the facility at the time, according to a report published Monday by The Times, a UK-based newspaper.

It must be really bad for the Iranians to deny it happened. They acknowledged the Stuxnet virus. Great news.

The only way to destroy a hardened facility deep underground is from within and the Israeli’s have some ballsy operatives who can get high explosives into a secure facility.
You wonder if they didn’t have Saudi help in getting this done. Next to Israel the Saudi royal family has the most to lose if Iran goes nuclear.

I had the same feeling of Deja vu when I read this. The plot line in some book I read had a bomb detonating deep inside, collapsing floors above onto floors below and contaminating the site for centuries in the process of destroying it.
Can’t remember the book, but I do recall the idea.
