Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul turned the heat up on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Wednesday during her Senate hearing on the Benghazi terrorist attacks, telling her that he would have relieved her from her post if he had been president when the attacks occurred.

"I think it's inexcusable," he said, adding that he takes her stepping down from the Secretary of State post as her accepting "the culpability for the worst tragedy since 9/11."

Military Scramble Order Overseas:
First, I've got over 26 years working in military control towers, most of them as the watch supervisor/crew chief on duty.
Scrambling aircraft to respond to urgent situations normally starts at the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
The scramble order comes down through a secured phone call on a direct line.
In the attack on the U.S. embassy on Benghazi, the drone control would have been from MacDill AFB, FL, by U.S. Central Command, and would have been in direct contact, or maybe even remote control to the situation room in the White House.

The pResident SHOULD HAVE issued to order to scramble fighters to Benghazi, to get there in minimum time.
Then he SHOULD HAVE issued a second order scrambling AC-130 gunships to respond to Benghazi, and have them stand by for more orders.

This should have been controlled by the pResident, who should have monitored and responded with guidance from his Situation Room,

staffed by men and women from the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community, and the military,
all of whom are committed to ensuring that the President of the United States is provided all the information and intelligence he needs to do his job.

* Four Americans dead, including an ambassadress who begged for more security and didn’t get it.

* The Obama administration WATCHED and DID NOTHING while the consulate was under seige.

* The Obama administration (with the help of the State department ) concocted A LIE regarding the cause of the terrorist attack.

Given the above facts, what should the punishment be?

I have an associate who was a big part of Johnson’s campaign team, and he assures me that Ron Johnson is the real deal. I hope he becomes a bigger and bigger part of the scene.

He is over 60, rich, and doesn’t give a damn, because he doesn’t need the job. That’s exactly the kind of Senators we need.

But it was all in vain as they just made a statement and then she countered with a statement and then moved on to the next senator. I was expecting it to be like a cross examination at a trial where they would ask a question and demand an answer and then move on to the next question. Someone mentioned it in another thread that this is all smoke and mirrors and Kabuki theatre.

Rand Paul looked Medusa right in the eye and nailed her failure as SOS.

He is a true American.

He was the only one who took her on fearlessly.

Everyone else worried about the file on them that Hillary had.

I don’t know how Hillary will be able to sit down this afternoon after her ample rear end was kissed so much by so many.

Certainly in my long life time H. Clinton is by far the worst Secretary of state in history. Her policies and bad decisions have left the middle east in total and complete shambles. Egypt is now in the hands of terrorist ( and she approved $1.5 BILLION a year to help them?!!. Lybia is now in the hands of terrorists. Central Africa (Mali) is a terrorist stronghold— and getting stronger. Tunisia is at least fundamentalists if not terrorist.The Saudis promote killer Wahhabi groups in the United States!! Pakistan knowingly harbored Bin Laden next to their military base and its “OH HUM” to Hillary— No big deal— Give the PAKS some more printed money!!. She is the worst.

He asked questions she failed to answer and she just said she disagreed with McCain. I was expecting Hilary to be grilled and not just a few talking points thrown at her where she would just ramble on not really saying anything.
