The facts that the weapon was found in the school with over a hundred bullet shells strewn about and the wounds in 26 bodies blown apart with 223 bullets.

It's hard to sweep all of that under the rug. But conspiracy idiots are doing their best along with willful idiots here.

It’s amazing how many Freepers are jumping on the “fire doesn’t melt steel” argument for Sandy Hook. This event has spawned a whole new Truther industry.

100 bullet shells? You've been listening to some of the MSM doofuses who know nothing about firearms.

I've heard rumors that .223 cases were found, haven't seen any evidence or really heard any credible statements.

Also, “blown apart”. Seriously? What, the shooter musta been using some of those “dum-dum” bullets that the MSM was so enamored of years ago. Or maybe it was some of those “cop killer bullets” I've heard so much about. Or maybe it was some of those secret CIA exploding bullets.

So, as if this tragedy wasn't horrible enough let's follow along with the media narrative and make it even more dramatic. And demonize a .22 calibre varmint round as “blowing apart” a human being. Thanks alot. The media and the President needs all the help they can get.

It's just truly sick, and there seems to be a lot of here lately. There is no place in the conservative movement for wackadoodle conspiracy theorists. They make the entire movement look ridiculous. Each of us has to act a bit like Buckley and make a point of calling out the loons and making sure they don't poison the conservative message.

Conservatives have had a rough go of it these last couple presidential cycles and I realize that causes despair and some people will look to conspiracies for answers, but we don't have time for that nonsense. Alex Jones nutters are not welcome in the conservative movement. Period. It is up to serious conservatives to call this stuff out and drive the conspiracy theorists back to InfoWars, PrisonPlanet or whatever other crazy forums they populate.

First, you have to remember that for some, if they didn’t get to go into the school themselves, and see and touch the AR-15 and the casings, they can still argue that the people who SAY the saw it were lying.

I’m sure there are pictures of the inside of the school, but being police evidence, they probably aren’t being released, although if I were the police I would find a couple pictures that show only the gun and casings and put that out — except the police clearly don’t see their job as stopping every idiot who has a theory from spouting off about it.

And if they did release such a picture, the conspiracists would just claim they were staged or photoshopped.

On the other hand, I don’t think they were “shells”, and I don’t think the bodies were “blown apart”.

When the question was about whether there might have been another shooter, I thought that was a reasonable question. I can see how a second shooter could sneak out of the school in the confusion.

When it became questions about whether the school had any kids in it at all, or whether the parents were actually actors, or whether John Goodman was hired to play a police officer, that’s when it became clear the lunatics had taken over the asylum.
