Sandy Hook and Christopher Rodia – Most ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ Can’t Think

Apparently many alternative news pundits and Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists are still fixated on the idea that a man named Christopher Rodia was the REAL owner of the black Honda Civic that has been identified as the car of Adam Lanza’s mother and which was found outside the Sandy Hook elementary school.

The basis for this erroneous belief is police scanner audio that was picked up from the morning of Dec. 14th and details Connecticut State Police response to the massacre.

I obtained the original audio files from Radioreference.com. I had to pay a small sum for the full files. I have listened to them, and it is pretty clear that it is rather unlikely that the aforementioned Christopher Rodia had anything to do with the Sandy Hook massacre, even if his name and DOB is mentioned in the audio. This doesn’t seem to dissuade the conspiracy nuts though. In fact, it just makes them even nuttier.

What so many of these nutty people have apparently missed is the fact that the audio files clearly contain police communications about MORE than just the Sandy Hook event.

In the audio streams there are several communications from Connecticut State police who are clearly not involved in the response to Sandy Hook and are just out there doing their ‘normal’ jobs of stopping people for no reason and catching speeding drivers.

The Connecticut State police scanner audio from the morning of Dec. 14th 2012, as provided by Radioreference.com, begins at 9.34am and lasts for one hour until 10.34am i.e. it begins at about the time Lanza is said to have entered the school and lasts for one hour.

...if the reporter just got out the camera for a few quick shots, it would make sense to have two pictures of the same group.

Perhaps the one reporter on the scene only had one Secure Digital card and it was almost full. Maybe the reporter had been instructed to get as few pics as possible to save time having to choose which ones to show the public.

I agree that they could do a better job, but I think you are making a mistake thinking that there is no need to keep the investigation confidential. People are speculating that there may have been other shooters. I don’t think that there were, but that is something the police are surely going to investigate, if only to rule it out.

Now, what if they DO find evidence of another shooter? If they had gone off half-cocked and released all the evidence to the media before discovering that, they would have tainted their investigation. So, it’s better to err on the side of caution, even if you think the perp is dead and there will be no trial.

Still, some things they surely could release, but haven’t, and that is disappointing.

And then post later that if I don’t contact them then that means I don’t care about the truth I just want to believe conspiracys. So I contact the Medical Examiner, with an e-mail link YOU PROVIDED. And then you message me and say “well he probably won’t contact you”

Well, no shit. I knew that, you knew that but I did it just so I could get on here today and prove what kinda bullshit you are spreading.

Where is the word "specifically" in that communication. The term "multiple" is usually used to mean more than just two.

Also audio of police dispatches don't include punctuation marks. Substitute a comma for that period and read it that way:

"multiple weapons, one rifle, and a shotgun".

The police dispatch does not include semicolons or periods or commas. It came across the aire as "Be advised multiple weapons one rifle and a shotgun". The transcriber is adding the punctuation marks.

The officer is either singling out the rifle and shotgun as part of the "multiple weapons" -- thus the use of the word "multiple" meaning more than two. Or by multiple weapons he means the "handguns".

Either way -- the rifle is identified as being there on the dispatch within 15 minutes.

Well, first of all, YOU messaged me privately, not the other way around. I just replied to your message telling me you had emailed the medical examiner about the caliber of the bullet. Here is your message, and my reply, verbatim. If you want to put this in the public form, let’s quote the whole exchange so there is no confusion based on your limited description:

Remember, I provided you with links for BOTH the medical examiner’s office and the police department, with the police department listed first. We already know that the ME refused to answer a ballistics question, and directed that inquiry to the police, which nobody seemed to follow up on. You wanted to know the follow-up answer, so you should obviously contact the police, not the ME who has already publicly refused to answer the question.

I do not think they are the same boys. I enlarged the pics on my laptop and one boy has a gelled mini mohawk hairstyle and the other has flat combed forward bangs. I also think one has older jeans with more faded, possibly ripped knees.

He didn't say "multiple long guns" but "multiple weapons". Last time I checked the police consider handguns, rifles, shotguns to be "weapons". And more than one weapon is "multiple weapons".
