I heard the phone call from that.
The husband was on the phone with the wife AND the Police at the same time and he can be heard chuckling and telling her to “shoot him again” over and over... He couldnt wait for her to kill someone.
This is the type of idiot I would prefer NOT TO have a gun- The gun is to defend yourself. Once the threat was gone you dont need to shoot it.
Simply announcing that you have a gun often is sufficient. the femboi reporter who wrote an article about giving up his guns because he was too much of a pansy to actually use it missed the point of having one completely- as soon as he racked it the sound made the criminal run his ass off to get away from there. THREAT ELIMINATED by just the sound...
While the hubby was playing pansy on the phone his wife was taking care of business. I was taught by my former LEO instructors to EMPTY the chamber, and reload instantly and shoot again if need be. They will sue you no matter what, safe yourself a lot a grief and the state money take out the scum bag who will only do 1/3rd of his sentence and get out and go on with his current profession until some one does take him out.
Better than fighting 6 parole hearings for a tad of justice for the person he will kill.
Mother of a child murdered to see what it felt like....where is my Fence POST BAN, I’ve been waiting 23 years for one.
My Jeremy’s killer now walks a free man after a measly 14.5 years out of 20 year plea bargain, first parole hearing 10 MONTHS after sentencing. He maxed out his ‘not so good behavior time’.
Did you read the story? The women was in the attic with her children and the perp came after them. You are a foola gun is not a safety blanket that chases away the bogey-man; it is a tool designed to kill. Used properly, it prevents recidivism 100% of the time.
If you want to scare someone, shout, “Boo!”
If you want to kill someone, shoot them (preferably numerous times)! If you are not prepared to kill, don’t have or brandish a weapon.
That hesitation when you say "Stop or I'll shoot" could just sign your own death warrant. The woman did the right thing.

I disagree - this is the type of person that deserves the right to possess and use a gun. There was no “chuckling” in that tape, simply the earnest desire that she successfully protect herself and her children. The fact that the perp walked away, says she shouldn’t have stopped shooting, yet. I understand she exhausted the capacity of her revolver. This is an ad for pistols with higher capacity magazines, in my mind.
Everyone will hear something different in the caller's voice. To me, he sounded like a worried father and husband too far from his wife and children to help them. He sounded relieved when she shot the intruder.
