I'll give you one better. My dad met Colin Powell wayyy back in 1969, when they were both stationed in Vietnam. Apparently they interacted for about 3 days together on some base, and my dad tells me that nobody thought much of it at the time since Powell was an unknown army major back then. I asked him what he thought of Powell, and he told me "Not Much." I get the impression it wasn't a positive experience.
