Well, we must treat all children with tenderness, even murderers. They are, regardless of anything else, children.
We should treat criminals with respect. And we do, at least we try to. Even death row inmates get respect. Are you confusing tenderness and respect with something else?
Is there ANYTHING that does NOT get your respect?
