Swissvale police are increasing patrols near a school bus stop where two major brawls happened the past few days.
Cell phone videos captured by students show a crowd of as many as 60 students and parents fighting in the streets of Swissvale, on both Monday and Tuesday.
“They were riots”, says Swissvale Police Chief Greg Geppert. Even worse, the fights were made up of both kids, and adults.
Police say they have already arrested five adults and minors, and are looking for close to a dozen more. The students, and parents were reportedly from the Woodland Hills School district.
“It was appalling. I’ve been very disappointed”, says Woodland Hills School Superintendent Alan Johnson. The superintendent says any students involved with the brawls will be suspended and expelled from school if possible.
Meantime, those who witnessed the fights in the neighborhood along south Braddock Avenue in Swissvale say they are afraid to walk to the store.
“I’m afraid for my life. I won’t go for a walk anymore”, says a woman who didn’t want to be identified.
Four different local police departments are working to find all of the students and adults fighting on the video.
Don’t sell your tenure “short” there. Maybe compared to me, but every group has to have it’s greybeards....

1) I don't see any whites in the mob fight, but it is a poor qual vid
2) Those involved in the fight were both parents and children
3) Don't live anywhere near that neighborhood

Truthfully I don't think there is much that can be done at this time to change the insanity of political correctness.
The momentum, for now, is still in the wrong direction and it may take a long time for the pendulum to swing in the other direction, if ever.
But there is quite a lot we can do at the personal level to avoid, or minimize, the negative effects and danger presented by insane government policies and the national idolization of minorities, America haters, sexual perverts and other misfits.
I guess you could say that we have gradually gravitated to always thinking, planning, and living defensively.
We stopped flying - totally. We try to drive defensively, maintain situational awareness, avoid all travel through any questionable areas, rarely attend large public functions anymore (gun shows are an exception), leave stores, theaters, etc. if we see suspicious individuals or groups.
When the county wanted to bus our son across town to a ghetto school we cut back on other expenditures until we could afford a parochial school. If that didn't work out we would have home schooled before we let him be exposed to that form of governmental abuse.
I try to keep the vehicles in good condition to minimize the potential of a breakdown as much as possible, keep the gas tanks topped up, and keep some emergency supplies in them.
And of course, I got a CCW permit and always have a weapon on me or in the vehicle. Actually I found that I am even more risk averse since I got the license to carry.
We can't change the course of the nation - the last election showed us that the country is in the midst of mass delusion and determined to commit societal suicide - but we can manipulate our own circumstances to minimize personal exposure to abuse and dangers.
