He admitted his liberalism (leftist variety) up front, he generally didn't call names, nor was he disruptive, nor was he a rule breaking instigator. He lasted for fifteen years, why take him out now?
He was truly a somewhat illiterate, low brain power moron, but was fun to play with......
In the spirit of bi-partanship we herewith beg demand request he be restored to posting rights. Particularly if he donates.
KSen has been around for a very, very long time — almost since the beginning of Free Republic. His posting history indicates he hasn't been a troll but rather an honest and open advocate of his views.
He was once active on the Calvinist ping list. He's a former political conservative who changed his position. I think we can learn from such people. After-action reports are good to see what we did wrong as well as what we did right.
However, a quick Google search shows that he's started some threads on Free Republic, including “Who is Ksen,” which the moderators pulled. He's also a participant on at least one other discussion board talking about Free Republic. I don't want to post a link to that website without permission, but googling “Free Republic suicide watch thread” will pull up what I'm talking about.
The moderators may have had reasons for their actions which go beyond this thread. Their call.
But if it were my call, I'd give a second chance with a strict warning to a Freeper who dates back to 1998. I think that old of a sign-up date merits special consideration.
IMHO, I think it is a value to FR to have American Thinker contributors as FReepers.
