Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak was the subject of many an unkind word before his fall. Though the jokes were usually told in trusted circles only, they were known to many, and fear of reprisal engendered inventiveness. To avoid mentioning Mubarak by name, the president was called la vache qui rit (the laughing cow), a reference to a type of French cheese. The fear only disappeared with the advent of the revolution. Today, political satire can be found in the media, on the Internet, on social networks or even on protestors signs at demonstrations.
For his supporters, Morsi is a religious leader as well as a political one, and his critics are insulted as blasphemers. Caricaturists, satirists, journalists, and actors have even been brought to trial.

I'll bet the Islamists in Egypt and Obama supporters in the United States don't even see the irony.
Mubarak was worse? A secularist who had to clamp down on the filthy murdering Muslim Brotherhood?
Oddly, I heard Mitt Romney and the Republican Party utter not a word about this during the campaign. Well, maybe one or two, but....not really upset about the loss of the secular Middle East to the future Umma.
Back in the 70s, the lib media was painting the Shah of Iran worse than the Ayatollah Khomeini and his Muslim-Brotherhood-inspired Revolutionary Guard. Really sad (and sick) parallel.
And no, you will not hear the liberal establishment GOP and all its RINOs speak on this matter at any time.
How long before it is illegal for us citizens to badmouth not only Obama but any other foreign dictator/thug ? I know now, you can be financially punished for badmouthing Obama like lose your job for example.
As a dictator I would have found the “aspiring” part offensive.
