The way I’m getting this is that if you have a pistol that will accept a magazine with over 10 round capacity the pistol will have to be specially permitted. You won’t have to have the magazine.

Wouldn’t that include just about EVERY semi-automatic pistol that can accept a magazine?

What handgun out there can accept a 10-round mag, but nothing larger?

... I guess that’s the point. Make them ALL “registrable”...

And what happens when the next mentally ill shooter in a “gun-free” school zone uses a 10 round magazine? What’s next, a 2 round mag?

Just about any semi-automatic pistol will accept a magazine with greater than 10-rd capacity, if you can find one.
