I don’t believe my post advocated cleaning out ALL the Republicans, though that is an interesting thought. I advocated sending the Weeper, Cantor, and McCarthy to the back benches.
To the list of nominees that you don’t care for, let me respond by stating that I don’t believe the following Republican nominees, stalwart squishes all and not generally accused of being right wing bomb throwers, didn’t seem to fare too well:
Mitt Romney, Linda McMahon, Connie Mack, Linda Lingle, Scott Brown, Heather Wilson, Tommy Thompson, Carly Fiorina, Chris Shays, etc., etc., etc.
But if you think the Republicans voting in favor of the Obummer/McConnell “fiscal cliff” deal helped to put our financial house in order by doing so, far be it from me to try to disabuse you of that notion.
You will not find a single post from me where I have advocated stalwart squishes RINO’s as my preferred candidates. So, please do not post as my agenda which is NOT mine.
My most important criteria for any candidate is, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES he/she can defeat their democrap opponent. If that meme fails, I can not support that candidate regardless of how pure they are. If the candidate gives me feeling of a election win, next question I ask is how conservative is their agenda. Only if affirmative then they have a chance of getting my support.
Based on my criteria, I do not like Jindal for 2016. I do not think he can win. I do not like Palin for the same reason. And I love both of above two because they are splendidly intelligent and much better than any RINO out there.
I am favoring Rubio, Walker or Mcdonnell in 2016 unless something negative pops up before the nomination. They have proved to me they are winners.
Finally, I have never failed to vote for any repub over a democrap even if I have to to drink two double scotches before pulling the lever, with one exception,,,I favored JFK over Nixon because JFK gave us the first tax cut during my lifetime and that helped me find a job just coming out of college.
