Now med bottles that Coumadin/Warfin come in are considered hazardous waste. At least in my state.

What state do you live in? My husband was on it until 2010 when he had to have the artificial valve replaced with a pig valve. Now he doesn't have to take Coumadin.

We live in Washington State one of the most environmental conscious states there is.

Why? Not that I care! Into the garbage my empty coumadin/warfarin bottles will go. Especially if some state agency or EPA bureaucrat warns against it. I wouldn't trust them or their edicts as far as I could throw their flabby bureaucrat pasty asses. My own little private way of telling the gubmint to shove it!
