To: Alas Babylon!

The one I have brews FOUR sizes. My well-worn coffee mug holds about 16 ounces. It DOES brea a 16 ounce size but hey, I like my coffee strong. Using one of those cuppie things and brewing 16 ounces makes it too weak.

So I brew an 8 ounce cuppie thing then put a new one in and brew another. Two 8 ounce brews fits into my beloved mug.

But that’s just waaaaaaay too expensive for what is essentially a morning coffee fix and Chock Full O’ Nuts will do.

Like I said, there’s all kinds of ways to configure this thing and let us not forget that Swiss Miss has little cuppie things and husband loves hot chocolate.

So I’m psyched.

You’ll love it. And next week I host my book Club...we’re reading “Portrait of a Monster-the Story of Joran Vandersloot”....and it’s PERFECT for company.

Serving little crab cakes, shrimp, hummus dip, Doritos ranch chips, peeled clementines, an olive tray, country sausage and a nice home-made bundt cake.

Read the book and y’all can join me.

Chock Full O’ Nuts

I'm a CFON guy myself, but recently found cause to criticize their jingle on the yellow can lid whith stated:

"No Nuts!...100% Pure coffee"

I thought; "What morons....(no nuts)"

It should say:

GO NUTS!...100% Pure Premium Coffee!

I have a bag of roasted beans and a grinder, just achin to get together for some hard core black coffee. I'll let you know how it turns out.
