Punta Cana, DR.– Ex-president Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton are enjoying their year-end vacation in Punta Cana, in the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic.

According to press reports, the Clintons will celebrate New Year’s at the Puntacana Resort & Club and could also attend a fashion show scheduled for December 29, which will be held in honor of famous Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta.

Also expected to attend are American journalist Barbara Walters, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Spanish actress Mar Flores and her husband Javier Merino, among other international jetsetters.

Here are the facts: The Clintons are not in the Dominican Republic. The Clintons are not going to the Dominican Republic. I realize that you are linking to and possibly relying on a DomincanToday.com posting, and rest assured we have contacted them as well to point out their deceitful reporting. I’m hoping that you have now been apprised of the facts, and that what you are presenting to your readers is entirely inaccurate and based on nothing even remotely true, we sincerely hope you will do the right thing and take all necessary steps to correct this falsehood. We likely disagree on just about everything, but surely we can agree that posting a lie is far different than posting an opinion. Philippe

After hearing she was in a NY hospital on the 30th, I'm wondering how she got from her Washington home to the hospital in NY City. Fox News reported on Dec. 15th that she passed out at State Dept. Hdqtrs. in Washington, and that she went home. I'm assuming she went to her D.C. home, and didn't travel anywhere after her so-called concussion. Her office also said she would work from home, then return to her office the following week. So when and how did she get to NY City? Too sick to testify, but not to travel? Even if she was in the Dominican Republic over the weekend, the press would cover for her and say she wasn't there. I'd just like to know when she got to NY, and how she got there. Sounds to me like they either went on the trip and she ended up in the hospital upon her return, or they went to NY to go on the trip, and she ended up in the hospital before they could go.

The Clintons have lied so often over the years, even about trivial things, that even if they were telling the truth, none of us would believe them.

LOL. I agree with you. It’s hard to know what to believe with the Clintons, except whatever it is, don’t believe it!

It was initially reported that she was recovering in her Chappaqua, NY home. That would explain being admitted to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. It’s only about 35 miles south of Chappaqua. An ambulance could have gotten her there in less than an hour.

There are also direct flights from the Dominican Republic to New York City. :o)
