Yea I remember that also from a long ways back. I did a quick search on his name & prostate Cancer. Wiki has that he died of complications from Pneumonia. He had Prostate Cancer back in the 1990's and evidently was cured of it.
Whatever took him, it has been a totally crappy year. I mourn his passing, and I shed a tear when I heard about it.
Tampa local news reports that he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. This is the first I’ve heard of prostate issues.
Either way, RIP, sir. I was in 6th grade during Desert Storm. I remember being glued to the TV every night. He made me proud to wear my Boy Scout uniform at the time.
