President Barack Obama is cutting short his Hawaiian holiday to leave for Washington on Wednesday to address the unfinished "fiscal cliff" negotiations with Congress.

There may also be agreement on a temporary delay of ALL spending cuts.
In other words...
A "Continuing Resolution" of the status quo.
The Republicans would have agreed to this 6 weeks ago if Obama hadn't chosen the path to High Drama.
This was either planned from the beginning (”Ubanga rides to the rescue!”) or Ubanga’s people got sick of seeing the Drudge Report and advised Ubanga that he is looking pretty bad and “out of touch”.
with the money he saved by staying home, we should about be able to avoid the fiscal cliff.
Or he blinked.
How's yer cake comrade?
I don’t think His Heinous NerObama gives a rat’s arse about how he is perceived by this people any longer outside of creating the myth he is a god and benevolent dictator all must worship and approve of.
He has no election to win, and has more flexibility now that he has secured himself in office again.
It’s all politiks now. All for show and creation of the meme the media will establish as narrative for the purpose of consolidating all power within their man-god.
we went over the fiscal cliff a long time ago....
Someone please explain to me why they felt the need to add that little nugget.
When hubby and I and children went on vacation, we did things together. He wouldn't even think of going golfing or to the gym with the boys.
Great point, Bookman.
Massive debt, massive money printing, massive government guarantees, massive unfunded liabilities for Social Security, Medicare, and state pensions.
We are in deep, deep trouble.
If you repeat it often enough....

oh and to get away from the wife to have sex with his boyfriend.
Yes!
I saw that, too.
One word explanation...
“Reuters”
I also noticed the camouflaged blame shifting for a possible tax cut extension.
Reuters says Obama must secure Republican agreement in the Senate for that to pass.
They make it sound like Republicans, who are in the minority, might block the tax cuts.
The fact is exactly opposite.
Many Democrats will vote against the tax cut extension, and Obama will most likely need many Senate Republicans to support it.
However, many of the Tea Party Republicans in the House oppose the extension of the 2% cut in the Social Security Payroll Tax.
I'm wondering if they will vote against the Extension.
It has always been pretty bizarre how little time Obama spends with his family. 18 holes of golf and the trip to the course is a good chunk of the day. And he did that several times on a short family vacation!
On the second day of Cliffmas, Obama said to me...
Ol
Saint Alfonso would be Proud of you
