You could use libertarians like me in your state, especially with the recent and projected influx of contrarians. I don’t want to go where I’m not wanted so tell me where you live so I can stay away from moving next to you.

I live on Galveston Bay in a little village called San Leon. This used to be a sleepy little fishing village with hardly anyone but fisherman living here. But about 10 years ago Houston "discovered" us. Now tons of mostly rich people moved in and commute to either Houston or Clear Lake. Well I really should not complain, since I did exactly that my self 15 years ago. I used to live in Seabrook, but when Seabrook started turning into Houston I moved here. Now here is again turning into Houston, with a few refugees from Cali thrown in.

I left New York for Texas back in 76. In 76 you could drink a beer driving home from work and not have to have insurance. Today Texas feels a lot like NY in 76, and trending left. We are very close to becoming a blue state much like NY did in the 80's. Already the big cities are blue as is most of south Texas. Politically we are feeling the inpack of all the "new comers". If things continue Texas will be blue soon.
