A New York Newspaper Printed the names and addresses of every Licensed Pistol Permit holder in two Counties and another County is being posted shortly! This is a massive privacy breach and the latest in a series of over the top emotional reactions to the latest shooting tragedy in Sandy Hook CT meant to intimidate the lawful and prey on peoples fears to exploit the gun grabbing agenda.
In an article title “The gun owner next door: What you don’t know about the weapons in your neighborhood” the paper linked to an interactive map titled: “Map: Where are the gun permits in your neighborhood?” where you can search neighborhoods to see who received a legal permit to own a hand gun license listed by name and address.

So now if someone harasses a permit holder and winds up getting shot, then they were forewarned by the media, so they shouldn’t complain?

It is also probably illegal. Time for class action suit by all the permit holders against the paper.
We don't live in that area, but I'd be happy to know my neighbors were armed. I'd feel a lot safer in this liberal world because of it.

This rag of a newspaper has done this before. Every time any kind of notable shooting occurs they post this crap. I didn’t see my name there yet.

I’ll take the armed neighborhood — and, according to John Lott, neighborhoods where citizens are armed are much safer and have less crime.
Criminals want citizens unarmed, it makes their “jobs” easier. Is a criminal going to break into a home with a “Beware of Owner” sign on it with a photo of a large gun? Or a home without such a sign?
If I were moving, I’d make use of that map in a second. I have more to fear from criminals than I do from my neighbors.
Great thing the newsaper is doing! If I lived there, everyone would now know I carry. I would love it to be announced! Super idea!

That was my feeling as well, legal gun owners are not the ones to fear. This is to scare the idiot who says things like “that gun may GO OFF and hurt someone”. I have heard someone make that very statement! Idiot!
