What a piece of dog crap. I think slaughtering little kids is a bit more egregious than an affair in the past. Barney is a neon advertisement for what lack of God causes, and not even homosexuality. Obnoxious lying, immoral public policies, drug use, corruption, just an overall bad human being.

Where does that old fudge packer Franks get off talking about or denigrating anyone for their religious beliefs or standards! It is interesting how the least God loving feel empowered to speak on the faith of others.

Newt's marital history is not synonymous with "absence of religion in public life", so the analogy does not hold.

Having an affair, while distasteful, does not remove one from religion. It does move one away from God, but God doesn't turn his back on the sinner, nor has the sinner removed himself from the Church. We are all, by our nature, sinners. Some choose to live the best life they can, even knowing that they will fall short of perfection. Others know that perfection isn't possible and don't even try, preferring to revel in sinful behavior instead and using whatever bizarre justifications that they come up with. Like, say, Frank, for instance.

Mention religion to a liberal and they go hysterical but then every four years during a presidential election cycle you see the same hypocrite Democrats visiting a Black church in search for votes and invoking religion in their speeches.

Barney’s blast against Newt just proves that Newt hit the target head on.

Alinsky's Rules for Racicals #: "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

Christians aspire to live up to a high set of standards, but being human sometimes fail.

The difference is that when a Christian fails he blames the failure on himself and doesn't blame the standards.

When a fudge-packer fails, he blames the standards.

Barney “The Banking Queen” Frank has the unmitigated gall to call Newt Gingrich a hypocrite? You mean the same Barney Frank whose live in lover was running a gay prostitution ring out of his Georgetown townhouse and used to hang around schools to pickup boys for trysts? Or, the Barny Frank whose boyfriend had a commercial pot farm at his vacation home? THAT Barney Frank?

This response is a “non sequitur” even if it were possible that Newt Gingrich were the worst hypocrite in the world. Only a liberal would think to answer a question of truth or falsity with an accusation of hypocrisy.

Barney Frank and his creepy rhetoric. I think I recall his checkered past. Hey Barney...At least Newt admitted his wrong doings and blamed his own weaknesses. He never blamed the moral standards that most of us try to live by. What Newt said was right on. It's like you people are vampires..Mention God and look out!

If the left REALLY loved the children - and wanted them protected rather than murdered - they would insist on laws forcing all citizens to attend Church or Synagogue once a week.

For those of you who say that’s unconstitutional, look what liberals are calling for - they want to ban guns. That’s unconstitutional too. AND it’s been proven NOT to be effective at stopping crime. We can match them in our passionate concern - so concerned we trample THEIR rights...

Maybe if we started throwing out the parts of the Constitution that get in our way ( like liberals do ) they would start defending the document... It’s worth a try.

Before Newt entered the Catholic Church, he submitted his marital history to the objective criteria and orderly judgment of the Church’s annulment process. He is legitimately married to Callista in the eyes of the Catholic Church. Not that anything baby-killer Barney Frank says requires any response.

Newt accepted the idea of gay marriage and still gets no respect from gay rights advocates!

I dont know any details about Gengrich’s marital issues, but I believe he would tell you what he did was wrong much quicker than Franks ever would, shame or contrition doesnt exist in the liberal mind.
