No matter what Boehner and the Republicans do, they will get all the blame for the damage to this economy and the markets from going off the cliff. Not even the slightest criticism will disturb the individual in the White House or his party. These are dark times. Orwell would be in awe at the manipulation of reality here.Unfortunately, the GOP's plans, with spending cuts 10 years away, are not much of an improvement.

Which in my opinion, is precisely why the Republicans didn’t win the 2012 election.
The team couldn’t articulate how they were going to get to a balanced budget in short order.
Vague talk about cutting $4 trillion over ten years, when the debt is going up $1 trillion per year, didn’t cut it.
