There is an oozing of narcissism in these quotes. Someone who likely was brainwashed in college to distrust men and look at males as the opposition force: unless the man was pro-abortion and/or a neutered gay person. Sadly, women look at JFK and Bill Clinton as terrific former U.S. presidents while Ronald Reagan was a "religious" right-winger. JFK and Clinton used and humiliated women, had them for their personal toys; yet, non-Conservative women find their personalities magnetic. Who is really the independent thinker: a liberal who depends on the government as the sugar daddy or a conservative who loves her family.

“They skew so much to the religious right. ...”

Too many want to legislate morals not teach morals which seems to violate Matthew 28:19 which never mentions legislation. What we are seeing today is that the left and the right have met at that place on the circle where you can’t tell them apart. The one that doesn’t have a problem prevaricating is winning. Those that want to legislate morals are scaring many that otherwise believe and want to be led to the right path but fear that they can’t trust the religious right. It would help if many acted like Christians instead of Crusaders with a sword ready to burn unbelievers at the stake. Compassion seems to be the word that is often missing. Are we also sure that our religious leaders are in it for anything but the 1000+ suits I see on many who look a lot like Boner. Some seem think that these religious leaders shouldn’t be criticized just like the left says that we can’t criticize the O. Sainthood comes early for many...would be my headline.

THE BIG PROBLEM FOR THIS COUNTRY IMHO is that neither side believes in the Constitution. Only their way is the truth and light, but maybe it’s not Gods way? The only thing that he’s ever said to me is between me and him.

These are girls who grew up watching “Sex in the City” and thought that it was such a cool lifestyle. They’ll wake up in their late 30s or early 40s lonely and all bitter about the families they don’t have. But, hey, they’ll have a CAREER and Obamacare.

The media has smeared the GOP as being just of white males who are racists and hate women. This is why the media knocked out Palin, Bachman, Cain etc. We play right into their hands by running another white male.

Let me make it clear to any white male thinking of running for president: you cannot win so don't even run( that's a note to you jeb Bush, Chris christie etc.). Only chance we have is to run a woman, or minority to break the media matrix. Sarah palin could have and still can you hear me Palin? Susana Martinez, Niki Haley, etc. only chance.

"There was just no way I could have supported any Republican this year," said Stevenson, 31. "They skew so much to the religious right. ... They focused so much on taxes. It's not something that women in my demographic really care about. I've never heard my friends lament their taxes."

What does that even mean? Does she know what that even means? She's never heard her friends talking about taxes so it isn't an important issue and doesn't have huge implications for the economy because her buddies don't "lament their taxes"? Beyond absurd - scary someone this ignorant is voting...and apparently people like this are now the majority.

There is an oozing of narcissism in these quotes.

The women they speak of comprise a large contingent of the "Obama Free Stuff Army."

And speaking of "oozing" and "narcissism".....

What she said:

“They skew so much to the religious right. ... They focused so much on taxes.”

What she means:

“I don’t want me or my friends to be punished with a baby. ... Come on you can spread your wealth around a little bit.”

There is a reason that stereotypes exist. They are usually true. When a person says that taxes aren't an issue, you know that you aren't dealing with rational people. Single women, as a group, reinforce the stereotypical view that women operate upon emotion and not reason, unless the majority of these single women are living off of the taxpayers. I wonder what these single women are going to do when the government can no longer fund all these social programs?

This may reflect the urban/nonurban split.

There are a lot of single women in large cities. When they marry, many move out to the suburbs.

Single women outside of the big cities and large metropolitan areas may not be as solid for the Democrats as some might think.

Of course, they also marry earlier and cease to be single sooner than those who move to the larger cities.

In general, when women started to vote, the country started to move to the left.
In general it seems many women are natural socialist. Unfortunately it is a failed political system since there is NEVER enough other people’s money to pay for everyone.

It is by far mostly women who are left in this country.
I know we have some great ones here, but how does anyone propose we change their nature?

Granted brainwashing in school didn’t help men or women, but even after brainwashing more men tend to lean conservative.

I think it is part of our genetic make up, but would not go so far as to say women are dooming the world and America with socialism and so forth.

As a single woman who works with many single women, I can tell you about some issues and perceptions. Many single women are single parents. Their hot button issues are childcare and making ends meet (affordable insurance, affordable power, affordable gasoline, affordable food.)

They would characterize the Republican party as facilitating the lives of the rich and famous they read about in People magazine or watch on tv. It does not make sense to them that the Republican party would seemingly support raising taxes on them while protecting the wealthy who have so much. The Republican party also wants to cut funding to the safety net that supports them.

They are drawn to things that make them feel secure in a non-violent world, because part of them is occupied in nurturing children. They want wars to cease and they want guns to be taken from private persons.

Some are likely care givers to elderly parents. They want some help out with that - affordable care, respite care, etc.

They are more likely to have had low paying jobs and have not put aside retirement savings. They want to know that they have a secure future and won’t be abandoned in age.

That is why they call the social issues “women’s issues.”

The single woman problem will be solved with time. GOP conservatives need a decade plan. The term decade plan is from the famous Chinese three kingdom period. Cao Cao the leader of the North lost a major battle at Red Cliffs to a coalition of the West and South kingdom. The alliance was too powerful to overcome. After the battle one adviser asked Cao Cao what was the next move. He answer, “decade plan”. Cao Cao knew that he cannot fight and burn resources in a hopeless fight against the coalition. He adopted a preserve, rebuild and wait plan knowing time will destroy his coalition opposition.
If GOP wait and preserve their forces, the Dem coalition will fall apart. Jews will fight with anti Jewish Arabs, Hispanic immigrants will fight with blacks over entitlements and influence in Dem party. Single women will grow old and regret not marrying and hopefully they teach their younger ones not to make their mistakes. Single men can delay marriage because they are still considered attractive in their late 30’s and early 40’s. Women do not have this cultural advantage. Once married, raising a family and paying taxes, these single men can change.
This is like the 1970’s when the Dems dominated Congress and the GOP can only win the POTUS every now and then. Like the 1970’s taxes were high and gov spending was large, and minorities were pandered to with welfare and etc.
The other riddle about GOP wide appeal problem, is 34 states have GOP governors (you need statewide support) yet they do not have 68 Senators (which also need statewide support). There is a disconnect between the two. What are the governor candidates selections doing right vs the Senate candidate selections in the GOP? Ideology vs winning, which must come first. It is not a simple issue to grapple with and conservatives need to study it without emotional blinders.

And the GOP is left trying to pander to yet another idiotic group. I with they’re realize that all they’re doing is saying, “We’ll give you a little bit of what you want.” While the Rats are saying, “We’ll give you everything you want.”

In the last election, if we did not have shallow pin heads for “consultants and advisors” we would have warned Hispanics not to get close to the Black welfare culture. The stats are a killing field of suffering and death. Hispanics did not come here for Marxist poverty and oppression.

We don’t want them....the Democrats can have them....the GOP has nothing to gain by reaching out to the Sandra Fluke Club.....I know there are good Conservative Single Women, but of course, they are already in the fold, and that is not what I am referring to here.

Certainly not Christian women, if they go for Hinduistic yoga practices. This is a photo of Ms. Johnson from the article. Courting them will not result in election wins, no matter what the AP tries to say.
