We used to live south of Macon in Warner Robbins when my hubby was in the Air Force, so I know that part of the country quite well. Or did.... :)

I have something for you. Back in 1953, the late Anna Russell did a twenty minute explanation of Wagner's "Ring" operas that is one of the most hilarious bits of comedic commentary ever comitted to tape. (Try that for alliteration.) Every word is true, and the more you know about opera, the funnier it is. But even if you don't know diddly about opera, it's still side-splitting.
