Why was Andrea Yates able to kill her children when she went of the cliff? They were concentrated in a small area she had access to and there was no other adult that could defend them from the attack.

From what I read Andrea was suppose to be on haldol. Her husband took her off it so she could have another baby. A woman should never get pregnant on haldol but should NEVER go off it unless a doctor says it’s okay.
As far as I am concerned her husband killed those kids and darn near killed her.
Notice he divorced his mentally ill wife afterwards.
BTW after she was in the nervous hospital they put her back on the haldol and she realized what she had done and was remorseful.
