Good parents normally raise good level headed kids.

I hate it when people on FR assume parents share no blame when a kid is all screwed up. Someone raised that kid.

Many parents never spend time with their kids, how many times have we seen on here even that their kids are liberals?

I have kids and all of them are good conservatives, they know what is right and wrong and we sit down ever night to talk over dinner.

Not sure where the father was for the kid but it;s about time the country stopped witht heir social engineering and got back to how famlies used to be.

low divorce, mother and father, kids spend time with parents, lower crime, lower druggies, less self absorbed all about them kids and we certainly never have what I’ve seen today.
Many going around as if this happened to their kids and all trying to out do each other in their emotions now.

I never assumed anything regarding parental responsibility or lack thereof, but I hate it when people assume that every bad kid must have had a bad upbringing, because that's not always true either. While upbringing is probably 9/10 of the issue it isn't 100% because children aren't raised in total isolation. When you raise eight kids and number 6 “refuses to be raised” or veers from his or her upbringing it's not necessarily parenting that is the problem if the other 7 are good; there are other influences besides parents in the world, and sometimes it is simply “self.” where there is no one to blame but the perp. What works on 7 kids may not work on another. Sometimes the black sheep returns to the fold but sometimes the black sheep tries to live among the wolves and is consumed.
