This doesn’t happen in countries that are teeming with guns, Switzerland, Israel, etc.
We look down on Western Europe, but their kids are playing hack and slash video games and they are not put on psychotropic drugs like candy like we do here, and this doesn’t happen there.

Agreed. Raised four and keeping them out of the common culture and then teaching them to protect themselves from it was the hardest job of parenting.
