The GOP is indeed the 'loyal opposition' --- loyal opposition to conservatism. The Democrat-lite Party is in full force.

No, no, this can't be true. I learned right here on FR that Boner et al would be the guys that would hold Myth's feet to the fire.
They won't even stand up to 0.
I bet that cry baby sumofabich didn't shed any tears over this jackass move.

Why is it again that conservatives stay with the Republican Party?

Couldn’t they find a group of conservatives that is one more than the margin that GOP holds, and that group will threaten to not caucus with Republicans. Is Boehner willing to lose his position to Pelosi? (He might be)

Will someone please explain why we “need” two Democratic parties?

I bet Boehner and most of these people wanted Obama to win.

Good. Let Boner own this.

Collect those demoted names!
The GOPe is consolidating itself, and throwing out those conservatives who don’t fit THEIR program. Well, fine!
We need a new party, built on the bones of the Republicans. They’re just making it easier for us to recruit conservatives to the new GOD AND COUNTRY Party.

RE :”
House Speaker John Boehner and GOP leadership have removed several conservative House members from their respective powerful committee positions, Breitbart News has learned.
Effective next Congress, leadership pulled Kansas Republican Rep. Tim Huelskamp, Michigan Republican Rep. Justin Amash and Arizona Republican Rep. David Schweikert off committees from which they could exert conservative pressure on fiscal matters. Amash and Huelskamp were pulled from the Budget Committee and Schweikert from the Financial Services Committee. Republican civil war ping!
I assume this is for next years surrender to Obama on taxes.

Since there is no difference between the democrat party and the republican party, these guys should just switch parties. Then they could vote out Boehner.
Screw the GOP and the horse they rode in on.

Yes, Republians in the DC bubble who think they haven’t been liberal enough always win elections, right? Move government out of DC, do everything by teleconferencing from their home constituencies. Keep people out of the bubble.

And this is exactly why 2 million voters did not go to the polls on election day.
Glenn Beck yesterday was talking about how 0bama winning was not due to voter fraud as it was a meme they heard over and over at many of the book signings.
For all the Glenn Beck ‘reveals’ at times his naivette is astounding. Yes, the democrats had voter fraud, but the GOP threw the election.
Yes, there is a purge going on. They must shutdown the voice of the people within their own ranks....if they won’t toe the line.
Hitler did it, Stalin did it, Mao did it...right now it is committees, later the party itself, and then they ...if they are still around speaking of freedom, liberty, and constitution...death.
You think Allen West’s election and vote fraud was all about the democrats cheating? Think again.
Make no mistake about how I feel about this. Partyline voting got us into this mess. Partyline voting because that’s what the GOP-e said to do. Blame those 2 million voters who didn’t go to the polls to vote for Mitt...those brave hearts that condemned our nation to a living hell did us a favor.
It will strip away the mask of the GOP and reveal the treason in our own house.
