On Jan 2, taxes on EVERYONE will go up so all these RINOs are doing is agreeing with the inevitable.
If the GOP will just shut their mouths and do nothing then the collapse of our economy will fall directly on the Rats and Obama. Let the taxes increase on everyone, don't pass a budget, don't pass a CR, don't raise the debt ceiling, etc. SHUT 'ER DOWN!

Let’s vote this jerk OUT! The country is going to hell and he’s going to raise taxes even higher!?????????
To: faithhopecharity
The American Idiots voted for higher taxes so let's give it to them, ALL of them. Do nothing and let the Bush Tax Cuts expire for ALL and then the High Tax RINOs are off the hook and it falls right on the Rats and Obama.
If the GOP starts negotiating then they put themselves as the fall guys when the collapse happens.

Yes, but you forget who controls the media and who calls the villains out. White men are the new whipping boy and have been tied to the republican party.
Who is looking out for WM? I demand equal rights. It is all lip service. WM still rule. They are the puppet masters.

Chambless is engaging in brain ausfahrten ~ he imagines you can collect enough taxes to reduce debt.
Actually, if the government confiscated all the income and property of the rich, we'd still be running deficits.
What we need to do is cut the expenditures and expenses of the federal government ~

Maybe so but all the GOP has to do is keep repeating, “Ok, Obama and the Democrats, you got your tax increase on the wealthy”.
Freebies and tax increases is all the Rats really ran on so do nothing and let them figure the math out. The election isn't until another 2 years so if the GOP shuts it down now then the Rats will have to come begging and will give the GOP anything they want. Time IS on the Republican’s side.

In the past several years there has not been one peep about the FACT that reduced taxes result in increased revenue.
Even JFK reduced taxes and got more revenue.
Libtards are already on the back side of the Laffer curve and looking to go farther.

No. It isn't. Inaction is no solution. Obama is nothing if not Fabian. He seeks the total destruction of American representative democracy. He will accomplish that by wrecking the economy that maintains it, via the fiscal cliff. Dictatorial rule by emergency decree awaits in the wings. Conservatives, Repubs, and capitalists are the 21st century "Juden," blamed for all of the country's ills; blame firmly affixed by Obama's handmaidens in the MSM. Fight or die.

His switching positions on raising taxes proves, again, that the primary job of any politician, elected or appointed, is to stay in power.
His acts, IMHO, should become the poster for term limits at the Federal level.

What else do you want to let Obama do? Shut down all drilling? Tax all white people for reparations? Offer free abortions to girls of all ages with a ban on parental notification? Let all the Gitmo detainees go? Let Iran get nukes? Appoint Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers and Bernadine Dorn to the Supreme Court?
If conservative activism now boils down to “let Obama do whatever he wants” then the movement is either dead or it’s as full of kooks as the liberals like to claim. Saying the GOP should roll over and let Obama do exactly what he wants is either stupid, crazy or spoken by a liberal plant pretending to be a conservative.
Not to mention what in the world makes you think the RINOs would vote to not raise the debt ceiling now, when they wouldn’t even do it when the Tea Party was pushing to not raise it in Obama’s first term?

I believe time is on the Republican’s side and inaction is the only solution. The crash is inevitable and the quicker the GOP allows it to happen the quicker the GOP can force the solution.
That being said, it doesn't mean the fight isn't happening, only the tactics have changed.

First, I assure you, Mr. Jedi, that I’m not a “Liberal Plant”. That being said, how would you propose continuing the Bush Tax Cuts for ALL when they are set to expire for ALL?

Rush explained that Obama DOES want the fall off the cliff because it will enable him to accomplish a raise in taxes on the “Rich”, and cuts in the military both of which he campaigned on. And as a benefit Obama will blame it all on the Republicans. Obama will ‘come to he rescue’ of the middle class next Spring by reducing the tax to the previous Bush tax level.

If that's where the bargaining begins then so be it. I keep hearing from the Lame Stream Media about how the last Government shutdown was detrimental for the GOP but I look at it a bit different.
My position is to just do nothing and force Obama to make the next move. The GOP is fighting a position where there is no fight right now. Taxes will go up and if Obama wants to sacrifice 98% of taxpayers for 2% to pay more then there is NOTHING that will stop it.

The anticipated “revenue” from increasing the taxes on rich is around $80 billion. Obama spends $1.5 TRILLION PER YEAR MORE than what comes in as tax revenue to the federal government.
Math apparently is too difficult for Obutts to understand that taxing the rich does not mean balancing the books.

This is a one party system. Aside from a few ideological differences, we keep moving toward a socialist, big brother government America.
NDAA, Patriot Act, War on Drugs, constant military engagements, higher taxes, government takeover of industry, open borders, monumental fiscal mismanagement, Overburdening EPA regs, TSA, DHS, militarization of local law enforcement, reckless monetary policy, trillion dollar deficits, illegals pouring into our country/voting in our elections...and on and on.
Whether republicans and or Dems are in the majority, we are losing our freedoms and liberties to a behemoth central government.
Just reported, State, local, federal taxes, levies, fees...the average American only realizes 50% of the income we work so hard for. The rest, goes to service various government agencies.
Goodbye America, it's been a nice ride.

Can anyone explain what the republican solutions would be after the crash. What I have seen in the last 20 years is not encouraging. If the republicans had managed to take the senate and white house, is there anyone who really believes things would change?

Here is a glaring reason that the Republicans stand to lose every forthcoming election. They do not stand together!!! The Democrats ALWAYS stand together no matter how far apart their individual beliefs are. Their unity is the source of their power. Wise up Pubbies!
