The talk has already started about a possible 2016 presidential bid by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, but before that happens friends say he’ll be busy rebuilding his personal wealth and restoring his family’s relationship with the Republican Party.

If he decides to seek the GOP nomination, it could put a damper on any plans by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio to run in four years, according to The New York Times. …

After this year’s loss to President Barack Obama, Republicans are looking for a candidate who can appeal to a different voter demographic that’s no longer dominated by white men and women. Many Republicans believe that Bush fits the bill as someone who can attract Hispanics and other minorities without sacrificing his conservative values. …

I said that after McCain, but I still voted for Romney. I guess that is what they are counting on happening.

Ya think? At some point, we've got to stop dancing when the GOP elite calls the tune.

Add to that the people who think he nosed into the Schiavo case too much, and nobody will vote for Jeb.

At least, nobody will vote for Jeb until they do vote for Jeb.

Not a lot of fighters in the GOP right now to pick from. With the exception of Allen West, I can’t really think of any others, perhaps, Jim Demint, Rand Paul, or Thune.

The Establishment wants no one except a hierarch as their candidate. They firmly believe in big government, one which helps keep wealth and power in their hands. They wealthy who support the Democrats have the sam goal, which is to prevent the rise of new wealth that would challenge their own. Thus they must control both parties. They as much as the socialists believe in the concentration of power. What the Tea Party needs now is someone who like a Jackson is willing to challenge the Ruling Class.

I’m ignoring that talk.

I remember back when I lived in New Orleans a period of time when I truly began to understand that we were headed to Nazi America. And that period of time involed Terry Schiavo.

It was at that time that I began to know and fear the evil that is growing in this country.

Had I been the governor of Florida at that time, I would have walked myself into her room and gave her water. if the judge or anyone else wanted to stop me, then they would have had to shoot me dead. What was done to that woman was one of the saddest things that I have ever seen.

No, Mr. Bush, I will never support you.

I can’t imagine that Hillary Clinton will run, but if she decides to, it seems it would take a diverse resume and some gravitas to run against her. Imagine Rubio against her. A newborn compared to Hil.

But, things are upside down now and entirely unpredictable, as this election proved. The generation has turned and that may prove to hold, deflating the old timers, or the Marxists may collapse us and a grown up could look pretty good.

Jeb Bush can flip Hispanics like pancakes, however, but is that really enough?

Come back, Newt.

(just kidding.)

Paul has the right mindset, but I don’t know if he has the charisma to build an organization around,at least by 2016. But who knows what will happen tomorrow? Things can turn on a dime. As Lincolnonce said, “I do not determine events, events determine me.”

Now would be the right time to start our new party.

Just think, then the Repubs would have to try to win OUR votes instead of knowing they could run any old dude and expect us to pull the lever.

Unbelievable, has the GOP learned anything? No wonder they lost, I don’t think they know what a conservative is! If they nominate another RINO who wants to give illegals the ability to break the law due to their close proximity to the USA, only to have them vote Democrat in droves, I’m done with them!

If they don’t get their act together within the next two to four years, they are finished as a party! Romney was the last RINO I will ever vote for! If the Republicans give into illegals and Democrats demands with regards to spending, I’m done with them, they will, they always bend over for the back stabbing libtards!

He will not get my vote. Absolutely no more RINO votes. They’ve had their chances. No more career politicians for me.

LOL! That's what a lot of FReepers here were saying about Romney when he first threw his hat in the ring, and yet, the lion's share of posters voted for him anyway - even in the primaries!

If you're serious, refuse to EVER vote for a RINO, even in the face of horrific prospects. This should be a non-negotiable. We should never negotiate with terrorists.

That just happened. Maybe you held your nose and voted for Romney. But, enough of the base stayed home or voted for Johnson to make a difference. Of course, the party and talk radio hacks will make excuses and not admit it. And they passed rules that will keep them in power in 2016.

So what does everyone think Biden’s first act as president will be?

Or, if you prefer, and they force Biden out and replace him with Hillary the Stalinist, what do you think Mao Hillary’s first act as president will be.

Cuz Jeb ain’t gettin’ my vote and another RINO (don’t forget, he let the judiciary roll all over him and thus allowed Terri to be starved to death) sure as hell ain’t gonna win.

Produce your evidence that Mitt enjoyed large FR member support in primaries.
