Krauthammer again is again correct! Hamas is the cancer and will remain so until eliminated. Cancers don’t go away by writing a peace accord. Harsh treatment is the only way to fight them...believe me, I’m a cancer survivor!

Gaza was beautiful. The new occupants made it into a sewer.

Israel should never again cede one more inch of its precious homeland.

Seven years ago, in front of the world, Israel pulled out of Gaza. It dismantled every settlement, withdrew every soldier, evacuated every Jew, leaving nothing and no one behind. Except for the greenhouses in which the settlers had grown fruit and flowers for export. These were left intact to help Gaza’s economy — only to be trashed when the Palestinians took over.

It was sad seeing Jews being ripped out of their homes by their own countrymen. It was sad to see how the greenhouses were trashed by people boiling over with irrational hatred for the Jews.

Except for the few who insisted that "land for peace" would work, most people predicted that Gaza would just give the terrorists more land from which to attempt to destroy Israel.

There were zero credible arguments that land for peace would work for a minute. Why does our country keep doing this?

The Egyptian Arabs living in Gaza should be expelled to their homeland of Egypt, and the West Bank Arabs should be expelled to their native homeland of Jordan.

RE :”Why was there an Israel–Gaza war in the first place? Resistance to the occupation, say Hamas and many in the international media.
What occupation? Seven years ago, in front of the world, Israel pulled out of Gaza. It dismantled every settlement, withdrew every soldier, evacuated every Jew, leaving nothing and no one behind. Except for the greenhouses in which the settlers had grown fruit and flowers for export. These were left intact to help Gaza’s economy — only to be trashed when the Palestinians took over. “

Land for Peace ping!

Those peace loving Gaza Palestinians are so misunderstood.

—— In effect, Israel had created the first Palestinian state——

Actually it created a bifurcated state that has lapsed into two states. Gaza is in effect a city state with no internal resources nor sustainable ability. East and West Pakistan come to mind.

What was occupied? All of Israel is the occupied zone.

In 1967 Israel should have pushed all the Gaza Philistines into Egypt and been done with it. Likewise Israel should have pushed all the West Bank arabs into Jordan. It could have been done in 1967. Now they should take back a strip between Gaza and the Sinai and fortify it and they should invade and secure the Northeast end of Gaza to a line south of Gaza City and enisle Gaza City. Then over time take one peripheral neighborhood at a time and push the residents further into Gaza City. Mor rockets then should result in Israel moving the line further southwest so that the Gazans come to understand that rocketfire means shrinking real estate. Either the rockets stop or the Gazans gradually get forced into the Mediterranean or into Egypt as Israel allows only one way traffic across their Sinai border strip.
All this would serve as a demonstration for the edification of the West Bank arabs also.

US gives green light to Hamas to attack. Hillary sent to ME for photo op showing she was instrumental in ending skirmish.
Susan Rice gives her first interview during the same time. It’s all going to end like Benghazi, because there are too many outside players not privy to the rules. I don’t trust whomever is running this country.

I remember watching on the news as the Palestinian goatherds set these greenhouses on fire. It reminded me of the ghetto riots when the crazy halfwits burned their neighborhood stores and demolished their neighbors’ cars.
