For some reason, even after "binders," "birth control," and Big Bird actually did help Obama win a second term, the Republican Party is apparently still under the illusion that, just because the Left and the media launch a Narrative that's objectively false and nonsensical, we don't have to push back against it. But if those exit polls taught us anything, it's that we do. And a lack of pushback is why we're currently losing the Susan Rice debate.
While Republicans are off licking their wounds or just taking a break after an exhausting campaign, the Left and the media are not. And as a result, the GOP is currently getting its butt kicked all over the place.
Everywhere now, online, print media, and on cable nets like CNN and MSNBC, the false Narrative is flourishing that Republicans oppose Rice because she's black and a woman. The media doesn't care one whit that Republicans wholeheartedly backed Condi Rice (who is black and a woman) for Secretary of State, because this is about politics, not truth.
At his post-election news conference last week, Barack Obama vigorously defended Susan Rice, and now the media is following suit, because the media sees its job as to never-ever-ever allow this president to fail. The media also learned that false accusations of racism and sexism against Republicans helped win Obama a second term, so why not use that winning tactic to help Obama win everything?

Funny how their standards don’t apply to Conservative people of color.
By all means, how about we let Susan Rice get to be SOS, then we write her motherloads of letters, which we publish online, then record whatever answers she has, then cross-compare it with saved transcripts of what she said to the U.N., then make books about it. If she is Secretary of State, by all means, let’s write our own history about her, and scrutinize her as much as we can while in office. Let the nation live with the fact that Obama doesn’t care about how honest his cabinet members are.
thats because they always run from the racism charge..everytime a white person questions a brown person is not racism and people should say so. we are all in trouble if we cant ask question and someone can get away with murder because of their skin’....be open about it. we had some bad racist things happen in this country but you and i didnt do it. what happenend when O got elected is all the racist blacks said we own whitey ...thats racist too.
I’d ask her, “Are liberal black females capable of lying?” then take it from there.
Catherine Herridge was angry enough to spit as she talked about Clapper’s (something tells me he’s another guy with an affair he’s afraid will be exposed)reversals tonight. I’d love to see her get the chance to interview Rice.
Thge democrats and liberals have nonsensical crap positions that most people would disagree with, but they present them so convincingly thru their echo-chamber media that even crap arguments work.
Like this article says, Republicans aren’t just losing the game, they aren’t even on the field. We gonna sit back and wait for the phone to ring asking for our side of the story? Will we hhine about the “lamestream media” on our websites and talk shows or get busy using the internet and stealing the grassroots methods that have worked twice now for Obama?
In other words, are we going to get in the game or continue to get our butts kicked? Our positions are the ones that make sense, have been proven to work, and that most people would agree with. We don’t have to change our position on anything, just get the message out.
(And it wouldn’t hurt if some of our guys quit stepping on landmines)
Even if the race card hadn’t been played, nothing short of a major issue in Susan Rice’s past was going to stop her from being SOS. The fact that this gets thrown about in the press each day just makes the GOP look worse. Find dirt on her or let it go.
>> GOP Losing Susan Rice Debate
Premise problem: there is no debate; the GOP is a political prisoner performing for its captors.
Until Benghazi I had no clue who Susan Rice was/is.
They say she had no decision-making power in the event, but they sent her out to mouth the words.
They think if they spin this thing around enough everyone will lose track and give up.
Bullsh_t.
Obama should have known (did know), did little or nothing to loose regional assets, allowed a cover-up, and then sent minions to echo his falsehoods through the slurping media.
Fry these losers, one and all. They are no Patriots!
I don’t believe one bit of this. We haven’t even had the confirmation hearings yet. This is just foreplay.
If you stop trying to put this in terms of win or lose, then you never lose. Keep telegraphing your strategy long before the hearings and you keep giving them ample opportunity to obfuscate.
Play things close to the vest for the next year or so. Everything said right now is said in the shadow of Obama’s victory and thus tainted as sore loser.
Ambush her in the hearings with surprise accusations. Don’t telegraph these things to early.
It’s okay to out and out lie to the American people when you are a Democrat I guess.
It’s not okay to tell the hard truth when you are a Republican though.
I get the feeling that O will win on this too.
What battles have the GOP won since taking the House January 2011??
Watch them cave in the Senate after being called racists.
The problem is that this (Rice issue) is about O using his appointees (her) to lie to the voters to win the election. But Republicans will not say that letting Dems make it all about race and Rice the poor (and attractive) black woman victim of the old white racists..
Of course the GOP is losing the debate.
It wants to.
It never actually wins any debate.
The GOP are the Washington Generals of politics.
While Republicans are off licking their wounds or just taking a break after an exhausting campaign, THE LEFT AND THE MEDIA ARE NOT.
Thats why they win so many times. They don’t take a day off,,,not an hour off,,,not a minute off. They are relentless and full speed ahead 24/7, 365 days a year. The election is over and they’re still tearing away at Romney. They’re still tearing away at Palin AND her family, and it’s been 4 years since she ran for VP. For them it’s scorched earth. They aren’t satisfied with just winning. They get even angrier AFTER they win. They have to utterly and personally destroy whoever runs against them.
That’s the problem I have with plenty of the GOP, much less people who profess to support the GOP. As a GOP politician it’s a lose-lose situation because pretty much you get expected to run your own campaign and win, then you get thrown under the bus for losing, plus you get stalked by the left to try and destroy you for even bothering to run for office on the other ticket. Personally, I don’t have a regret for voting, and not feeling the same kind of hatred that the left feels for people who disagree with them. I have no fear regarding this matter, because I don’t hold grudges, I pray that plenty of the hyper-political types because frankly, among God’s biggest offenses is failing to let go of hatred and being unforgiving, which I wouldn’t wish such a fate on anyone, I would encourage anyone to sober off of it.
O is smart to use Rice instead of Hillary because she is black and she is a very attractive woman, unlike ugly Hill.
So O gets on TV and acts like he is standing up for her when he is not doing anything.
Any liberal who is also female and/or black and/or Hispanic and/or gay can do anything they damn well please so long as the COWARDLY white establishment GOP sacrifices the rule of law (and our Republic) out of fear of being attacked by the protected classes and the relentless media working on their behalf.
