Feinstein: Petraeus Cheated Because He Had 'No Entourage,' 'No Driver,' Had to Wash Own Dishes By Elizabeth Harrington November 21, 2012
(CNSNews.com) Senate Intelligence Chairman Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) explained on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that former CIA Director David Petraeus cheated on his wife because after retiring from the U.S. Army as a four star general he no longer had an entourage and a driver and had to wash his own dishes when he got home from work.
Heres a man, and you see Time Magazine, and you see the medals he has. You see the stars, said Feinstein. One day, he takes all of that off. Hes in a plain blue suit like this. He looks no different from you or you or you."
Having said that, Feinstein said, theres no entourage. Theres no driver. He gives an order at the CIA. Theres discussion. Theres flak. People dont like this.
And then he goes home to wash dishes, she said. It is a major adjustment. I think we need to look at this transitioning of people. I think we need to look at our tours.
Feinstein added: Now, this is not an excuse.
Host David Gregory then countered: Youre getting closer to excusing men for behaving badly.
I am not. Im not excusing him, Feinstein said. As you look at it, it became more complicated. I think he did the right thing in resigning.

I hereby pass public judgement on Petraeus’ affair - they were immoral and evil.
“And then he goes home to wash dishes, she said. It is a major adjustment. I think we need to look at this transitioning of people. “
He’s washing dishes and baby clothes
He’s so ambitious, he even sews
So don’t forget folks
That’s what you get folks
For makin’ whoopy!
I had .00001 percent respect for Feinswine at one time because she’s leaned right on military issues from time to time. POOF!
It would seem that General Petraeus as a conservative can’t rise as high as President Bill Clinton once did with an intern or Senator Kerry did lying to the United States Congress, the latter two are Democrats. There is no apparent explanation for Ms. Feinstein.
... and dishwashing is a breeze for women?
With “leadership” like this no wonder America is in steep decline!
He couldn’t afford a dishwasher? Was she washing his damn dishes too??? I mean golllly!!!
I think there might BE something to how elitists see the world as compared to you peons out there in the hustings.
Comedy ping.
“Give me a break! I wonder how many of those things Feinstein with all her money does?”
It took her three husbands to finally find a crook to marry in the person of Richard Blum, and she has helped him to make millions at your and my expense. She is the quintessential Jewish American Princess.
Where can I get a subscription?
“Whipped and proud of it!”
THAT’S SEXIST!!
I think I’ll let Mrs. Tweezers know about this too. I’ll probably forego the driver, though, because I actually like to drive.
I could not believe that Feinstein said that. I kept saying to my husband: the general does his own dishes?
Sometimes I think Democrats are the stupid party as well as the evil party.
thats what makes this a big deal. what were Broadwell’s
handlers trying to accomplish. and who were they?
back in cold war days the answer was straightforward - KGB/GRU and the intelligence agencies of the Warsaw Pct nations. these days its not clear.
I DON’T think Paula was washing his dishes, Dianne...
and dishwashing is a breeze for women?...Of course it is!!! You use your pointing figure to hit the button saying ON/ CANCEL. Voila.
Oxymoron Alert!!!!
More confirmation that liberalism is a mental disease.
Is this a joke? Feinstein, our - - Senate Intelligence Chairman Diane Feinstein goes on Gregory and claims this stuff. Its a joke, ya!!! it has to be.
Is there a chance someone else is in big trouble in DC and it is not Petraeus?
(...and it goes all the way up...)
Notice they added Senate Intelligence to the title as some lame attempt to bolster this blabbering idiocy as legitimate rational and acceptable.
Having no military or gov’t experience/background, I’m just asking here: are those ‘perks’ assigned, requested as part of the job position?
