As of Thursday evening, The Washington Times had received 51 definite yes and four maybe replies from RNC members asked if they would vote for him.... and, just like that: the BUSH/CHRISTIE 2016 campaign was officially underway.
*sigh*

I think Ryan and Walker support him. All from WI. But who are the alternatives? Haley Barbour has done it before but he’s still Gov.

The best thing conservatives can do for the Republican party right now is to register as independents.

Just walk away from the GOP. It’s reached the point where you can’t continue to help. Not because you don’t care. But because they don’t.

Only the RNC would put back in charge someone who was largely responsible for the GOP suffering a crushing defeat.

Well, I honestly have to say I don’t know how I feel on this one.
There is no doubt the GOP did very poorly in 2012. Whether a different guy (or woman) at the helm of the RNC would have made a difference, it’s hard to say. Priebus certainly has been stronger than Michael Steele, in that he was more consistent and far less likely to self-destruct in interviews.
There’s also the question of who we would nominate to replace him. It’s not impossible we could get someone a whole lot worse. Especially if we look solely at rhetoric. Replacing Priebus with the equivalent of a Sharon Angle isn’t going to do the GOP any good.

The Republicans ran a bad campaign. Didn’t this guy oversee all that?
To: Steelfish
They need someone like a Newt, Palin or a Governor Walker. Someone that can bring excitement; who has logic like Thomas Sowell. A young Clint Eastwood. A conservative Country Western singer that the masses love. Time to think out of the box. Get hip, GOP-not same ole safe spokesperson. This guy was behind Romney the entire way. When we called his office, he was always saying, it would be Romney. Please, not him again.

These folks are almost as full of themselves, as they are full of S.
Time for some Conservative loyalist blood folks. The GOP needs about eight quarts of A positive Grand.

Gotta go to the state level and change the whole RNC. A few hundred votes at the state convention is all it takes to change an RNC committeeman.
Uber RINO Saul Anuzis was replaced by conservative Dave Agema as a committeeman from Michigan in the spring and it only took a few hundred votes to do it.

Sortof hard to make Milkey Steele look good cause Mikey was horrible but still better than Priebus.
