Me too. Hopefully he can sew up the blue-collar and Catholic vote and has a good working class story to sell and as fovorite son will bring back PA into the red fold.
Most of my neighbors in Michigan certainly preferred him over Romney. He’s simply better at talking in a language the man on the factory floor understands.
In 08 Romney flogged McCain by 10 points in the Michigan primary. In 2012 Romney and Santorum tied.

Santorum LOST his last senate race in Pennsylvania, and only got 18% of the vote in the last GOP primary. It seems to me that the people of PA have no love for their former Senator.
