Jill Kelley Has Now Shown Up In A Photo With GOP Star Marco Rubio--And People Are Furious

Jill Kelley, the Tampa socialite who reported anonymous emails from CIA director David Petraeus' mistress Paula Broadwell, has made her way into some high social circles.

Angelette Aviles, a member of the Hispanic Leadership Council of the Florida Republican party, tweeted out this photo of Kelley with freshman Florida Senator Marco Rubio at an undated fundraiser.

The fundraiser was likely from the Senator's run in 2010, but could also be from a fundraiser since then.

Aviles tweets that Kelley didn't contribute at the fundraiser, and she didn't greet people there.

In fact, she wasn't even invited.

You know, we could get someone even worse than Hussein that kine of reasoning.

It’s like watching a recently divorced sibling go after and them marry someone abusive at the resistance of all family and friends.

A real train wreck.

Aren’t we seeing that the Republican-e does not like conservatives, does not listen to Conservatives, and yet cannot get a president elected without Conservatives?

Why follow along with their pandering?

“for starters..the White House Mess is open to the public at certain times.”

“Tours were suspended in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks due to terrorism concerns. In September 2003 they were resumed on a limited basis for groups making prior arrangements through their congressional representatives and submitting to background checks.

Presently, a tour of the White House must be arranged through a member of Congress. Reservations may be made a maximum of six months ahead of time, and the White House encourages tours be submitted as close to six months in advance as possible as tours are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_House_Visitors_Center

The world has changed since 911.

Anyone going into the White House will be checked..background and etc. Maybe, Ms. Kelley had a good Congressman vouch for her plus a clean background.

What frightens me about Rubio is that his defenders run about nine to one every thread and they have no logic to back up their defense of him.

I can bet they won’t find pictures of Paul Ryan with these
“socialites”, as he is a sober man with a job to do and who can discern that they are up to no good and won’t want any association with them.

Please!!! Rubio is a protege of Jeb Bush....it’s widely known in FL. Rubio staff is mainly people from the Bush and Romney camp, Rubio is certainly not what conservatives imagine him to be

Poor stupid politicians who are too naive to admit that they cannot allow themselves to have pictures taken with just anyone.

The role of the media with the ignorant masses is to support the myth that anyone in a photo with a politician has some connection or relationship with the politician. It matters not that there is no certainty to that idea - majorities believe it.

The White House mess is STILL open to the PUBLIC at certain times.

That doesn’t mean Charles Manson could escape prison and go have a coffee.

But Jill certainly could get in.

However, the time frame doesn’t fit for the public times.

She certainly could have been invited by someone.

And YES, the public can be invited into the “campus” to eat.

Somebody should do a photoshop (I can’t) of the well-known picture of Curiosity on Mars with Marvin the Martian replaced by Jill Kelley.
Just like the Kayla Maroney (gymnast pics) “not impressed”.

Spot on...make sure her neck is tilted...like Kayla's smirk ;)

Under the conditions I just posted.

“Invited” also requires certain protocols be met. Both by the invitee and the person who hosts them. The White House visitor is closely scrutinized and for obvious reasons.

Yes, and that is exactly what I think it is, pandering. I don’t think it’s a bad PR move to show that the Republican party is more diverse than the media and left make us out to be. However, when you watch the convention, and half the speakers are speaking in a foreign language, that is just plain old pandering, and not very subtle or sophisticated pandering either. If I were black or hispanic, I would be insulted at the patronization and not swayed to be sympathetic.

I don’t know much about Rubio, but let’s remember we were all for him instead of Charlie Crist.

Take a good look at this picture

http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2848431170049522851lLaemt

Does all of those people look like they are eating there on their lunch break????????

You do not need 6 months to get into that area.

You just need to be invited. How hard would it be for someone whose family member got a 300,000 loan from Kerry’s Chief Fundraiser.

UNDERSTAND

Btw, I know for a fact that an invited guest to eat at the White House Mess does not have to wait 6 months to go eat.

Sure, that’s fine. He’s better than Crist, for the position he is in. Just don’t tell me that he’s the best pick for VP, or President. I’m not buying it.

I’m not buying, or selling, the hype either. All I’m saying is that you are not putting in perspective what he did to Crist. For an unkown legistlator, to go up against a sitting governor, who had good approval ratings, in a race for Senator? That was an amazing win against the GOP establishment.

He may well be the sell out you say he is, and that would be a shame. That doesn’t change the fact that his defeat of Crist rattled the entire national establishment and gave hope to a lot of the other great candidates everywhere.

Those in Florida are far more able to define him than I am - but perhaps those inside Florida are unaware of how he changed the atmosphere everywhere by what he did to Charlie Crist. That’s all I’m saying, and for that, I’m grateful.

I have heard the warnings from Floridians about him, and I take those seriously. But he’s already done us all a favor, even if he never does another one for us.

“Btw, I know for a fact that an invited guest to eat at the White House Mess does not have to wait 6 months to go eat.”

I think you have totally misconstrued the point I was trying to make. Kelley contends she was an “invited” guest to a “White House breakfast”. I think it is pretty clear what that implies given the security required to attend. She didn’t say the “mess”.

I never said that she had to wait 6 mos to go there. I posted what the “general public” is required to do to merely take a tour of the White House.

The public can’t just randomly walk into the WH mess either. It is open to the public one day a month with “reservations”. I think it is just breakfast and lunch and there is a waiting list. Now, coming as a “guest” is a different matter.

It could be she got in line, made a reservation and made it in for breakfast at the mess. She appears to be “implying something different”...I don’t know.

Would it have made you feel better if I had put a “?” behind my original comment? It is pretty clear the tweet was coming from Greta not me.

By the way, I am glad the group in the pic didn’t have to “wait 6 mos to eat”...and that you had an opportunity to share it here in the thread.

I hope this clarifies the issue.
