Four of the top ten organizations whose staff donated to President Obamas reelection campaign were universities, data released by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) reveals.
The University of California (UC) represented the single largest employee group to donate to President Obamas campaign in 2012, funneling $1,092,906 to assist the President in his bid to gain reelection. That number includes the universitys PACs, individual members or employees, and employees immediate families.

These are not donations, they are kickbacks.

File this article under the Cap’n Obvious department. Perhaps, Peggy Noonan should write an article about it and act like she found out something novel.

Unfortunately people pass those elected seats over on their ballots. Looking at the numbers here in Michigan it looks like the only votes republicans seeking administrative seats got were straight ticket voters.
We're perpetuating our demise.
Ive been thinking about the road to long term victory and a return to a more traditional America and it seems to me that were so busy trying to take the castle that were leaving the marxist supply lines unscathed. We can take out the marxist at the top and another will be ready to take his place.
We have got to take control of education and end the production of new marxists. Pulling our kids out of the public schools is fine but it leaves the machine untouched and still pumping out new marxists. We also need to look at who built the machine, who maintains it and how to destroy their ability to do it again.
I wonder how many Americans went to the polls on Tuesday and gave any kind of priority to university boards of regents? These are positions that can cripple men like William Ayers who created much of the marxist indoctrination of our teachers that was and is then carried to the pre schools all the way back to the universities.
Here in Michigan I voted for tea party republican Rob Steel for 1 of 2 seats on the university board of regents. Steel finished 3rd meaning that two former union reps took the two positions. Unfortunately only a fraction of the people who voted for Romney, voted for Steel and most will say Who? if I say it today. Virtually every single state level education position went to democrats.

Next time the Alumni Association asks me for money, I’ll refer them to Obama’s stash.

Academia has generally been hard left since the days of Dewey and Wilson at least. Nothing new here.

Yes. Democrats have captured the educational institutions in our country. Give them credit for being able to take the long view that by indoctrinating children they control America’s future. The capture of education was a long term project for the leftist. The process of capture started way back in the time of John Dewey. Our conservative ancestors never had the foresight to block such a takeover. The left is now starting to reap the rewards of their hard work.

Unfortunately conservatives can't be bothered with such piddly things.

Every conservative who sent his children to government schools, or who thinks children need schooling at all, demonstrates the effectiveness of government schooling.

It is hard to understand why we conservatives were and are unable to gain such positions so as to achieve control of vital institutions such as schools, churches, social clubs, business entities etc.
At this period in time the left is clearly more able to dominate our political and control its direction.
