(WASHINGTON) -- In late October, former CIA Director David Petraeus traveled to Libya to conduct his own review of the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
While in Tripoli, he personally questioned the CIA station chief and other CIA personnel who were in Benghazi on Sept. 11 when the attack occurred.
The Libya stop was part of a six nation trip to the region. Petraeus intended the review as a way to prepare for his upcoming testimony before Congress on Benghazi.
"He was looking forward to testifying," a Petraeus friend told ABC News. "He wanted to be fully prepared."

I think we are going to realize that documents, emails, conversations have all been whitewashed to protect Obama. They have had ample time to clean it up. Obama wouldn’t be doing a presser tomorrow if he felt he didn’t have it under control. Expect some surprise “revelations” tomorrow from Obama.
I should have added I think it had something to do with the private investigation Petraeus was conducting into Benghazi.
Obama rarely makes news at his rare pressers. He usually just filibusters and drones on until everyone’s eyes glaze over. He asks a few friendly journolistas for their questions and that’s it.
We will see though. He knows this whole thing could bring his administration down I suspect.
