My premiums went up and the company said it was directly a result of obamacare, the parts eliminating previous condition clauses and also kids covered by mommy and dadda until they are 26.
“OK, I’m thinking of two bumper stickers. Either, “Democrats Deserve Obamacare,” “Or Obama Voters Deserve Obamacare, Good and Hard.”
I’m so PO’d right now, I’m leaning toward the latter. But is it too over the top? Will it be counter-productive?”

My brother worked for Goodyear for over 35 years. All benefits canceled. He just found out that an old friend, terminal with cancer, had his insurance canceled by good ole Goodyear. The man is now in a nursing home without insurance, dying. I will NEVER buy Goodyear ties again. EVER!!
Agreed. I work in Ohio, live in Michigan. Ohio was very enthusiastic for Romney/Ryan, you cannot help what stupid people do.

And what was their original excuse for needing odongoCare? I seem to remember a number of about 4 million people that were uninsurable??? For the misery and suffering that this atrocity is placing on the entire country, we could have just self-insured those 4 million people. This wasn’t about benevolence...never was. It was about destroying the best healthcare system in the world. When is enough, enough???

even watching the tv tonight, and the brave tv stations showing short little tributes to vets, I think to myself...WHY THE HELL NOW?....they could care less about vets unless it fits their agenda....

my step daughter is already into bartering her IT skills for things like oil changes, reset the check engine light that comes on because to the ethanol and just needs reset.
old people like me with health issues will not be able to do gardens, I have a steep front hill and a back hill, no growing space except on the side of house for even veggies, and what tomatoes I can get in, the heat usually kills. Sure don’t have any material things left to ‘barter’, it is all old and nearly worn out now. We replace only as it breaks at our age. Same goes for home repair. And the economy has wiped out our small savings, you don’t save much on Military UNDER PAY, and small retirement that just keeps shrinking.
