Mark Levin passionately defends conservatism and analyzes last night's election in the opening monologue of the Wednesday broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio program. Here's a partial transcript of Levin's opening remarks:
MARK LEVIN: We conservatives, we do not accept bipartisanship in the pursuit of tyranny. Period. We will not negotiate the terms of our economic and political servitude. Period. We will not abandon our child to a dark and bleak future. We will not accept a fate that is alien to the legacy we inherited from every single future generation in this country. We will not accept social engineering by politicians and bureaucrats who treat us like lab rats, rather than self-sufficient human beings. There are those in this country who choose tyranny over liberty. They do not speak for us, 57 million of us who voted against this yesterday, and they do not get to dictate to us under our Constitution.

I think he was shedding light on the dilemma many are feeling today.
Rush is as conservative as the day is long, but he is no saint.
He may be a prophet but he is no saint.
Same thing goes for Levin and for the record, I bought Liberty and Tyranny as a one of the graduation gifts for my son.
Maybe we need to lose some saints.
Our party has become splintered with single issue voters.
There are those in this country who choose tyranny over liberty. They do not speak for us, 57 million of us who voted against this yesterday, and they do not get to dictate to us under our Constitution. We are the 20 percent.
Oh that’s right, the foundation. I forgot about that. The health issues I had no idea about. I hear him coughing a lot when he is speaking, not a lot, but enough where I wondered why. Is it something wrong with his lungs or breathing?
He’s got a bad heart (medically speaking, of course).
Reproductive rights, gay marraige, amnesty, Lilly Ledbetter Act, etc etc...
What do you think the democrat constituencies are?
Levin has the experience..he would win in a landslide..he would just let er rip her would make Obama piss his pants
I thought he once said it had something to do with medication that he is taking for his heart.
In the audio he said children. Whoever wrote that text made a few errors.
I never claimed their beliefs where the problem.
I agree. We need to move further to the right. Only then will the masses realize we are the truth. No more RINOs. No more wavering.
“The left out number us and they, unfortunately, have this country in their grip. That grip is getting tighter every day.”
You hit the nail squarely on the head. Period.
All this Tea Party talk, RINO talk, we need Sarah, it’s Romney’s fault, we need to stick to core values, etc etc etc is really meaningless because we are outnumbered.
I does not matter how we reorganize, change or what.
As Rush would say, there are more people in the cart than there are pulling it.
Once an entitlement is given, it cannot be taken away. The more the rats are in power the worse it gets.
This once great nation is dying from internal rot.
Americans in general don't object to that.
The real question is should we have to pay for someone else’s abortions, when a cheap little pill or abstinence could have prevented the pregnancy, and should religious health care providers be forced to add killing babies to the policies they provide to their employees.
Why do Pubbies let Obamanation acolytes get by with labeling killing babies as “birth control”.
we love america up here in the GWN and to quote Obie...”this is just a bump in the road”
One consolation perhaps in the election is that now the O fanatics won’t be able to say: O was only in there four years. He didn’t have time to implement his policies.
In another four years we will be able to say: this is what happens to a country when liberals are in charge.
There won’t be any money lift to give away.
I accidentally heard her as well and the only word running through my mind was hysterics and the sound was Charlie Brown’s teacher.
Did you notice she didn’t mention Scott Walker as a great Governor and when Sean tried to pin her down for a response, she gave a snarky sound?
Cops are 90% bad, the whole lot of them.
And no, I’ve never been arrested, just witnessed time and time agian exactly the kind of thug stuff you are reporting.
In the NorthEast it is like living in a police state already.
The same folks who take those jobs, are the type that will be the brownshirts, if you will.
People always say, how could our neighbors ever do that to their own people, it will never happen.
It has happened, it will happen, and it isn’t unlikely.
Ask 1925 Germany what they thought about that prospect. They would laugh you right out of their house and brand you an extremist nut, but you’d have been right.
” thought she was gonna stroke out.”
I was thinking the same thing and almost wished it would happen.
I didn’t listen to Mark tonight.
So what is he getting at?
If taxes are raised - should we refuse to pay?
Should we refuse to comply with the Obamacare mandate?
When he says they don’t get to dictate to us? Well.... what exactly is stopping them?
John Boehner? Please.....
No one on this thread equated "birth control" to abortion. That was quite a leap on your part, bet that landing hurt like hell.
I think the dems are united with “Hey, do what ever feels good”
Rep rights is not a Gov issue (it’s a personal matter), Gay marriage is not a Gov issue It is a Church Matter, though civil union is a Gov Matter).
Amnesty is a Gov issue and it is a problem that Reagan drug into our camp.
Lilly Ledbetter was a civil matter that should have been shot down because it was already addressed under current law.
