WHEN THE CRYING IS OVER: One half of this country is virtuous the other half is unable to face evil. Bill Whittle makes an interesting case for the future that does not include civil disobedience.
Yes, every society needs as much poison in the culture as possible.
If you have one, add 20 more and things will be much better.
The “it’s no worse than” meme is tired and wrong.
” AMERICA NOT DEAD!”
Maybe not but it was coughing up blood last night.
Drugs such as alcohol?
Yes, every society needs as much poison in the culture as possible.
If you have one, add 20 more and things will be much better.
Do you support making society better by subtracting the poison alcohol?
bfl
No I think soon we will have RIOTING in the streets, because we need to cut spending! the people won't like it, but we will be GREECE and Spain soon... without the history!!
I’m not seeing the downside in that scenario. If they’re rioting it’s because they’re in pain. If that doesn’t wake them up the pain should continue until they do or until they suffer the consequences of their choices. People who live on the edge because they expect others to support them might find themselves suddenly freezing or starving. I have no problem with that whatsoever.
Social Darwinism is not evil. It’s a vital incentive for survival.
Math deosn't care about Republicans and Democrats. We are on an unsustainable course.
I hope the South rises again.
I support halting the degradation of society by not adding poisons.
I support halting the degradation of society by not adding poisons.
Nonresponsive. Do you support reversing the degradation of society by subtracting the poison alcohol?
Just another pile of lame platitudes, and outright denial.
We just have to turn like them; anything goes!
yer scawing them Lawwy.
Pleeze don’t scawe them.
I oppose legalizing drugs because it further degrades the culture.
Your excuse for further corrupting the culture, is indefensible and completely ignores reality and experience.
I support halting the degradation of society by not adding poisons.
Nonresponsive. Do you support reversing the degradation of society by subtracting the poison alcohol?
I owe you NOTHING!
No, nor do you owe anything to the lurkers who by now know exactly why you strenuously avoid answering a simple question.
I oppose legalizing drugs because it further degrades the culture.
And yet you vehemently refuse to support reducing the degradation of culture by criminalizing the drug alcohol.
Your excuse for further corrupting the culture,
I'm not offering an "excuse" for anything but merely noting your hypocrisy and double standards.
is indefensible and completely ignores reality and experience.
What reality and experience do you claim I ignore? And aren't you ignoring the reality and experience of alcohol use?
Thank you for watching the video. You might want to pose some questions to Bill.
Oh and here is more about Bills plan: The Future Is Bright for Private Space Exploration http://youtu.be/ElBobFOl8Kw
To All: Election update PJ TV with Bill Whittle http://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=mpg&mpid=509
To All: The America that matters is Americanism. We have been through worse; the civil war, the crash, depression, WWII and now we have this two bit Marxist that thinks he has WON! Well you all go ahead and continue to cry in your beer because for me they will not matter, they can all go to hell and try to stop me from being the EXCEPTIONAL AMERICAN that GOD intended me and my children to be. This is the time for COURAGE!!
1. Only a virtuous people can maintain a government like our founders established.2. The government established by the founders was suited to an agrarian people of virtue.
3. The government established by the founders transmogrified into a vertical arrangement where a central government assumed greater control and power in order to manage the advancements of the 'industrial revolution' which concentrates populace more in cities than on farmlands.
4. A new 'revolution' such as the Internet and electronic technology brings to the scheme no longer functions best under the old vertical federal management, so a new approach is needed, where the fed no longer manages all the strings of the institutions of the Republic.
5. Privatizing the funding and functioning of institutions such as education can be the new way to work around a dinosaur federal bureaucracy. Since private funding would be required to deliver the expected benefits, such a private funding would be more successful in maintaining an integrity which translates to greater virtue in the longer perspective, where folks are paying for what they really value, getting a better return more attuned to their desires, and thus fostering greater personal responsibility.
6. Eventually, this assuming greater responsibility for where the money goes from your spendable income translates into apeople of greater personal virtue and thus the federal oligarchy will either be again transmogrified or perish in obsolescence.
Of course, this new approach is vulnerable to a level of fraud and a government so pernicious that it is cancelling rights established by the founders is more likely to pass laws aimed at stopping privatization success rather than ignoring it.
And we see that Bill Whittle's admonition to 'just move on now, and ignore' the fact that the takers and handout dependants are now in charge, well that approach essentially is naive given the open cancelling of our Constitution this administration and the democrat in general are engineering as we write!
Here at FR, we have been funding via private donations and we see that it can be successful. Sadly, even this free-to-express-and-research-the-truth forum is about to be 'regulated' by this current criminal enterprise running the nation.
Whittle enumerated two examples of how this 'new methodology in parallel to the corroding federal bureaucracy' could function: the space program and education via Internet schools. If you can spare the time, the video is well worth listening to all the way through. I believe Bill is going to segment the lengthy video into smaller bytes with greater specificity in the near future. We'll see ...
