So you'd postpone the Presidential inauguration until March (by repealing the 20th amendment), allow President Obama to serve unlimited terms (by repealing the 22nd amendment), require poll taxes to vote (by repealing the 24th amendment), keep the office of Vice President vacant if the Vice President becomes President (by repealing the 25th amendment), and allow Congress to raise their own salary at any time (by repealing the 27th amendment)?

Stupidest post of the day on FR.

I didn't say we'd have to leave it at that. It would be a do-over. After we roll it back completely to that point, wouldn't it be something to see, with the benefit of lessons learned, which amendments would need to pass again and in what form? Could it be that one or more amendments (e.g. XXII) became necessary mainly as the unintended consequences of a previous one (e.g. XIX) came to light?

Stupidest post of the day on FR.

Of course it is, because we all know there's no possibility that you failed to think it through completely. Not to mention that the Founders and most members of Congress before the 20th Century were just not very bright.
